Got some Bosch 210's in, ICT billet hats, billet rails, magnaflow bypass reg with all Redhorse fittings and hose in, got return ran back to the surge tank, NGK plugs, and a PRP water pump. Also pulled oil pan yet again to do some canton oil pan studs. Taylor 10.4mm wires and heat shields done, and a high torque mini starter in too. All the little things add up man, time AND money!! Also made a strong 3/8" steel mount for turbo, welded to the frame rail. To leave room for future plans I reluctantly opted for a small hole in front corner of hood where the turbo will stick out a bit. Could have got it in the center under the hood, but I'd have no room for another s480 for next year! Haaa!

Very nice so far! That's your only vehicle? You either have really good friends or a high Uber bill!

Wound up cutting the factory radiator support out and making it out of tube. Also made a wonderbar/steering brace that serves as a lower rad mount as well. Got the radiator mounted all nice on rubber all around, the b&m supercooler all mounted and rubber isolated, and the a2a intercooler as well. I bought an engine oil cooler and fan as well and got them mounted. All in all it turned out great, and I'm onto turbo hotside now..

Quick update, got most of the hot side done, so far so good. Still have to do the wastegate merge, already have the dump line made that exits just above the main 5" in the oem trans am fender vent location. I don't have a tig welder yet so everything had to be mig'd, its all vht high temp cleared, then header wrapped, then high temp black painted. Have twin gates because the turbo is divided entry. Made some mounts and got the catch cans mounted, running out of room under there already lol. 20201127_131241.jpg #ad

Well, hot side is official done. Everything is nice smooth bends, high temp painted, wrapped, then coated again to help seal the wrap. Made a copper finned gasket for the O2 as well. Flowtech coated stainless turbo headers, kept the true divided inlet so I used 2 1/4 pipe & twin VSR 50mm WG's . Now onto cold side and then wiring it up to start!

Also installed a push button start and keyfob system. The mount in the middle of dash is for an 11" Android touchscreen with wifi, gps,bt, etc. for media. I also have a mount coming for a Microsoft Surface Pro 12" Tablet to mount in the dash in front of the driver seat for a full custom digital display I am making in Tunerstudio, as well as running the full version of tunerstudio and anything else Windows. My phone, MS3, android media display and the dash display are all connected with each other as well fairly seamlessly which is super nice too. 20210107_115008.jpg #ad

Couple more. One issue I have is that I have no room to adjust the camber/caster plates. Luckily its easy enough to just notch and 45 two sides, will give me plenty of adjustment. 20210107_125124.jpg #ad

Been a while, but have been truckin along great. Got most of the wiring done for the entire car, took my time and used colored wiring, sleeving, solder, shrink wrap, fuse/relay boxes, the works! ha! Finished putting some cheapy carpet down too and started getting trim back in. Got stereo and media all done, SOOOO nice having modern tech, bluetooth, wifi, gps, push button start, backup camera, great sounding stereo in an old car, even some cupholders! Used some 12v led's off ebay and made a blinker indicator/shift light panel for the column. Also got a tilton throttle pedal in and made / welded a bracket for that and another for a standard pull style brake light switch. Super excited everything feels great (column, pedals, steering wheel, shifter, buttons, etc).

Bunch more pics. Wrapped up a lot of wiring and plumbing, some more to go. Put some fancy maradyne fans in and had to move the IC / trans cooler stack around, and make some new brackets and weld em in. Came out great and looks clean so far. Also did some UMI weight jacks up front so I can adjust height/rebound/and dampening of the car at all 4 corners easy now. Waiting on some backordered fitting and parts rn to get her started finally while I wrap up some smaller projects on it.

Sorry for the crappy vid, finally got it running and wanted to share. Still have to do cold side, boost controller plumbing and some other stuff on motor, then onto finishing brakes and steering. Tunerstudio guage calibrations are incorrect so the laptop #s aren't correct if anybody noticed lol.

I have a couple small issues to fix but I'm stoked! I primed it with oil with the accumulator, used Tunerstudio test mode to turn on fuel pumps one by one to test and prime. Then went one by one for every system to make sure everything worked. It started instantly and idled at 800 right away I couldn't believe it. Broke it in, changed oil and filter and now working out small crap. I officially built my first engine!!
