AC delete, delete?

    Is it possible to bypass an AC completely? No eliminator just smaller belt? Thanks guys.

    Thts my concern finding a belt the right size I have another thread where I was asking about custom belts to specific size. The replies were basically get one from the parts store so I'mma try tht

    But I get what ur saying it may need one pulley to go under and without the AC it can't or whatever

    If it's a street car it's really not worth the gain in my opinion. It's not even going to be 1 hp to spin it when the A/C is turned off.

    For the belt, run a string tightly around the path you want the belt to run, then measure how long that piece of string is.

    Thanks man the problem was just fitment of one of the turbos I wanted to set it right in tht spot and perhaps use the brace thts there to hold the t-bo steady

    Alot of people ditch the A/C. There is alot I would get rid of before the A/C compressor. I have done 2 Dragweeks and I will say it's a very important part of the car. My definition of street car is has working A/C. If it's a race car all you really need is an Alt. Everything else can be removed/replaced.

    Just my opinion, you do you.

    I have done the string belt length. Tie a loop in one end route the slip the other end through the loop pull tight mark with marker remove measure. Go on amazon and order belt in correct length and rib count.

    thanks man and yea I already got it covered it's a convertible so I dont mind no. Ac and I've got a bypass pulley on there now what I was hoping is there was a bracket already made to place my alt there and get rid of ps pump idle pulley and ac altogether no luck tho. I may still attempt to fab one.
