Just wondering what’s the best combination for a single turbo 440 trying to figure out what’s the best compression and everything that wouldn’t blow the crank and rods to the moon. What compression, rotating assembly, turbo, heads, cam, blow thru carb or efi, etc. thanks!!

It all depends on your hp goal. What is it?
    Pump gas? E85?

Efi is what blowthru carbed usually end up when people get sick of fiddling around with their carb . If it’s in your budget than go efi right off the bat.

What crank is in yours? Cast cranks seem hit or miss it seems some people have a failure at 500hp while others live at higher hp levels. The oem steel cranks are better . A good set of main caps would be good insurance with main studs.
