That is great!! Question, which secondary chains are you using? I’m not a fan of MMR but they have the X chains I was thinking of getting. I know Accufab has some of their’s which are $60 more but can’t find any information on them to warrant the extra price.

I’m running the big chains from mmr. They don’t make the chains, niether does Accufab. I can’t remember but I think they are from japan or something. I had to use the oem secondary gears though. The cloyes secondary gears are slightly larger and binds the cams up.

What performance primary chains are available? With Cloyes not supporting Modulars anymore is there another performance OEM type chain without going to aftermarket sources? Drilling around on the Cloyes web site I couldn't even find the gears you mention.

Not sure on the Primaries. Those stacked links are damn near in destructible though. I prefer the oem secondary gears and a adjustable crank gear either pinned or welded. If you guys need anything get with Jordan at Modular Head Shop and tell him I sent you and he'll take care of you.

From what I read and talk to, OEM primary chain is fine to use.

Good to know! Can’t beat $180 from MMR vs $240 from Accufab. MMR uses Iwia chains which I know Accufab goes between them and Morse. Iwia is a company out in Germany. I just may go with the ones you got from MMR.

Huh, could you 'splain that a bit more? I know the billet crank gear but what is "adjustable"? Got a pic of the stacked links? What are those?

We went to Orlando Speed World Last Sunday to run in a shootout. Floridas Top 10. We worked hard to make A-B passes on a hot and slick track BUT we came home with the WIN!!! It was unfortunate to get it with a broke bye but I'll take it any way I can get it. I couldn't do without the help of the KMFF crew! The car is apart to get some upgrades done. Hoping to have it back together for two races May 17 & 18. Fingers are crossed.

Heres the adjustable crank gears that I run. All other sprockets are OEM.

Thanks guys appreciate it! I cant wait to get the car back together. FTI is putting a 1.69 first gear going in the trans with a internal dump valve and a few different stators to try. TRZ has me a set of Mencer struts coming. And the other upgrade were going to keep quiet for now. :rock2:

Thanks for the pic Kurtis. You have to win ALL the rounds to get to the final and that deserves full credit. Congradulations on the win.

Got my trans back from FTI yesterday. Freshened up with their extreme 1.69 low gear and their new internal dump valve.

The bracket is under them, shock bodies are blocking them. They’re Very similar to my third gen struts.
