Finally got it all back together. Got it aligned again with the new 1" shorter front control arms and the fronts are tucked in nicely now. Need to put some street miles on it and should be ready to rock again in a couple weeks. Even washed it for the first time in a couple years.

I ave a Team Z K-member and control arms. I switched over to the 1" shorter arms because the front wheels were out on the fender, the 1" shorter arms tucked them inside the fenders just right. Rear suspension is Team Z lowers and Baseline Suspensions upper relocation kit.

Thanks Shaun, hopefully it stays together for a while this time. Hope to see you out and about this year sometime.

Also added some rocker girdles for some (hopefully) increased valve train stability. I plan to switch over to some shaft mount rockers but need to decide if I am going to go solid roller or not and if I'm going to keep these heads or upgrade to something bigger. Not sure I want to jump through all the hoops that going faster than 8.50 would entail though.

Long time without updates. Had some challenges getting the car track worthy and some niggling little issues still to fix. Rearend makes an odd moaning noise periodically, think it may be a high spot on the ring or pinion gear. Finally decided to send it anyway a few weeks ago. Got to the track and found out my 2-step and shift light decide to crap out as well as my datalog button in the car. Still got a new PB and the car didn't blow up on me for a change. Not sure I'll get it out again this year, but shouldn't have any major changes to make this winter.

This is the vid of the run when I dropped the valve last November. Car was on a pass before Cylinder one decided to implode.

Run from a few weeks ago when I had to lift as I got out of the groove and the car was pulling hard to the right.

New PB run after finding a crack in the merge pipe but sent it anyway.

Here's the crack I found. Decided not to make any more runs as I didn't want to make it any worse.

    And my crappy welding fix

Also decided to finally install my Donathen tow hook onto my font bumper. I've had this thing for a couple years, finally got around to installing it, my tig welding needs some work but I think this should hold.

Are you still running the pt7675?

Yes, I've considered upgrading, or getting another and going twins, but I really haven't gotten max potential out of this one yet. Plus I'm on the edge of crazy ass cages and other requirements, so I'm thinking of trying to put the brakes on this crazy ass horsepower slippery slope I've been sliding down.

That is pretty impressive what you have done so far with the 7675. I have a s480 with 83mm back wheel pretty much the same size as the 7675 on my 357w, so your setup gives me hope. I think your car is perfect the way it is, if it were me I would enjoy it the way it is.

Nice ride!!! What a journey.I tied to read from the beginning to the end.Do you still drive it on the street and,IIRC you are running a AOD trans correct?

    This thread gives me hope,I have a 1990 Lx,currently has a 514 BBF,but plan on doing a 347 dart with a 76MM Turbo.I am currently min tubbing it.

Just wanted to say what a great project! Keep up the great work.

Thanks. Keeping it as is would probably be the smart thing, not sure I'm capable of being smart with this car. We'll see what happens over the winter.

Thanks. Yes running a built AOD, with a trans brake and overdrive. I can still drive it on the street, it is licensed and insured. However, I've found I drive it less and less on the street as it has gotten faster, too much paranoia of something going wrong or getting the wrong kind of attention.
