07 GT500 running twin 62/66. Making a few changes this winter to the set up. Going to remove the factory supercharger and run just the turbo's. Installing mmr stage 2 turbo cams and valve springs. I have a boss 260 intake, should I ditch the factory intercooled intake set up and run the boss 260? I have another air to water intercooler that I can install inline to keep the iat's down. Can't find much info on the boss 260 intake in a turbo application and if it even fits the gt500 head ports.

 

a 4.6 and 5.4 have different deck heights so intatkes don't directly interchange as the heads are spaced further apart. the boss260 is from a 4.6.
i believe there were a few spacer-adaptors to interbreed intakes to different heads but don't know it applies to your situation.

 

Actually the Boss 260 intake is for a 5.4 but it’s for use with 4 valve C heads like you would find on a 4.6 here in the States. It will not match up to the GT500 intake ports. For that you need 2000 Cobra R intake or a fabricated sheet metal intake or stick with the stock intercooled intake which has no runner length.
