Just fyi...I have the same Holley intake as you and on3 kit. I had to use a phenolic spacer to clear my valve covers. That caused me to have th o lengthen the pipe end at the throttle body. I stole a piece about 2 inches long from the pipe from the intercooler behind RF fender and had it tig welded on the end by the TB.

Well got the bumper of the car, water pump installed and figured out where I want to put the extra vband on the down pipe. My intake wasn't ready yet so I think I'm going to go to my shop and grab my box intake and tack up the vband so I can continue the mock up of the cold side before I final assemble anything 20181201_063040.jpg #ad

Went to the shop this morning cleaned up a little put my new welding table I got from eastwood on black Friday together. Then cut up and installed the vband on the down pipe just tacked it, brought it home it and installed it. Also grabbed the intake for the hatch back figured I could use that for mock up and if my intake isn't ready by the time I am I'll put the box intake on it for now.

No I robbed one meant for my hatch back I got from monkey fab. That one is the interlocking type- Male female and also has a t with a flip up ring. Definitely worth the extra money imo, bc u never have to worry about a leak and u never lose the nut lol.

Ah cool. It looks great. That will make a plug change a lot easier.

Well got the lower intake back from the machine shop, mocked the intake up and it it still sat a little high Evan after milling .025. So I switched to the thinner intake gasket and the ports lined up nice. Got the lower intake bolted down. Then jumped back on the hot side. Everything on the hot side seemed lit it would work so I went ahead a put header studs in and bolted on the headers and got the cross over back on but one vband isn’t 100% aligned so that needs a little adjustment. Lost one bolt to bolt the turbo down and I knew it was there so it was totally me. Off to ace tomorrow.not sure how much more I’ll get done before the weekend going to just try to order some stuff I know I’m missing.

Ok got hot side pretty much done minus 1 turbo bolt and the Waste gate. Clocked the turbo and played the upper on the intake and mocked up cold side. Also test fitted the bumper and ran tape to layout the cuts for the bumper. 20181205_171011.jpg #ad

Fuel rails bolted down, got some of the harness hooked up again, got the front number to fit, and started to make the intercooler brackets. Recieved a bunch of new parts in the mail

Making a intercooler support. I did something similar on my hatch, that intercooler was larger and I’m making all the tubing so I didn’t have to work with any real confinement’s. I also shifted the hatches to the right to make more room for the turbo. The top on the hatch is supported by the 1” chromoly bomber support. I don’t have a better picture but if u need one I’ll take one next time I’m at my shop.

I’m trying lol... didn’t get a lot done this week so far. It was my youngest sons birthday and he is officially in double digits. I did have a lot of parts come in, and started to clean and organize my garage. I think this weekend is going to be more about clean up and orginazation. Mainly bc I missed place my new torch body for my TIG welder and need to find it. All kidding aside I need to do a quick overhaul I’ve been going with very little breaks since March on this project and everything looks like a worldwind went through. Although I can’t really help myself when it comes to working on the car and it’s almost ready to fire up again so we will see what side of me wins outor

My shop, my garage, and my work can. I get so focused on trying to get it done I neglect everything else..lol but good news is I took all my scrap tubing and sheet to the shop and I had already brought the torch body there and put it away so I will finish cleaning out the corner and take the cross over pipe off to wrap it. I didnt like how close it was to the intercooler piping
