For those that overlook the little s366 in a single application on a v8, here's what mine has done so far. Went 10.71 @ 126.9 on 8 psi in a 4000ish lb stick shift Jeep. Has made 580 whp and 654 wtq on 10 psi. Stock 5.7 hemi with 80 lb injectors on e85.

I think many overlook the 366. That said, any logs of iat's or turbine drive pressures?

No log of drive pressure but IAT was 103 at the end of the pass. 109 after 4 consecutive pulls on the dyno. Has a basic 4" VS air to air.

Now that is a unique build for sure! I am digging it!! What is done to the Hemi to make it live? I have heard they are similar to the LS, very tough but shitty oiling?

Essentially nothing, lol. It's got the vvt locked out because the Holley won't play with it, 80 lb injectors and fuel system, and a Ford 80mm cable throttle body. It just plain works. I haven't heard of any oiling issues yet, mostly people breaking pistons because of the tight ring gaps and mediocre factory ecu. Motor has 70k-ish miles on it, 13.5k of that with the turbo on it. Stock Hellcat clutch out of a wrecked car too, lol.

That's good stuff. Change the valve springs to the 6.1 springs, the stockers are highly prone to snapping and tearing up the head. Oiling problems are with sludge and clogging up the inlet screen. Did you just leave a spark plug boot on the other 8 plugs and ignore?

I have a set of 6.1 springs, just haven't gotten around to swapping and shimming them. Should do it at some point.

It's using the factory coils and all 16 plugs with the Holley coil drivers.

I didn't expect those iat's, even more impressed with the setup.

I was kind of surprised by them too. I expected a fair increase in iat when I added boost but they're still pretty low for an air/air setup that I drove to the track/dyno and let heat soak. Obviously I don't have logs of drive pressure but I feel like there's still a fair bit left in it with those iats. It's got a Bullseye billet wheel and race cover that are probably helping my case a bit.

Something I have observed, doesn't necessarily mean it's gospel, just something I've observed. All things being equal; I've observed that there is a correlation between turbo size and displacement and HP and torque. Granted automatics and manuals will skew the numbers. That being said, I've observed that when the turbo is sized larger than ideal for the displacement then you have noticeably higher HP and lower torque. When the turbo is sized perfectly for the displacement then you have fairly equal HP and torque. When the turbo is sized smaller than ideal for the displacement then you have lower HP and higher torque.
Regardless, great build, keep at it.

Full boost at or before peak torque makes for big torque numbers, and like you said hp typically falls off up top with a turbo that makes boost early.

Boost isn't dropping and inlet temps aren't rising at high rpm. It's strictly a function of still having the stock cam in this engine. I think these 5.7s usually shift before 5500 stock? The turbo is letting it carry out a little more but can't make miracles happen.

The billet wheel, and race cover most likely helps a bit up top as well. It seems to me there was a mild 383 sbc build here with a cast 366, and the results weren't as good as yours.

The billet compressors can flow quite a bit more. Can't believe the S369 flows pretty similar to the small S475!

Buddies 240z with a 5.3 LS made about 540 whp through an unlocked auto at 11lbs. LS1 intake, mild cam, stock small valve heads. Forced inductions billet ETR-HP S366 with race cover (.91 exh housing). Only 6150 RPM.

He later turned it up to 16ish lbs and said it was a ton quicker. (E85 intercooled)

truck is pretty badass for sure. the little 366 that could.

if.you have a non vvt block. i got a 6.1 cam and 6.4 springs you can have just cover shipping. 6.1 is worth 35rwhp alone in a 5.7. yet is a grewt turbo cam as well.
