So I’m doing a build thread on the car and am getting closer to initial startup and would like to hear some input on what I should expect as far as power expectations and how the turbos will spool.

I chose to build the stock block engine I had to get everything dialed in, once I get the tune ironed out and all things clicking I’ll be swapping to a DART based 408w and turning up the boost.

The motor made 440hp to the wheels with a different cam on the NA combo, I don’t really have a number I’m looking to make as a goal, I just want to run as much as I can safely which I know has tons of variables involved.

    Brief rundown on the combo:

    393w Stock F4TE Roller Block
    Compression Ratio: 10-1 (Running E85)
    590/576, 229/239, 116 +5 Cam
    TF205CNC Heads
TF Box R Intake, Lower Ported
    90mm TB
    Pro-M 3” Pro Tube
Pro-M EFI ECU w/ Coil Near Plug Setup

Pony Down Stage 3 Twin Turbo Kit
    1 3/4” Headers
    3” Downpipes
    Borg Warner S366 Turbos
All piping and turbos ceramic coated
    Tial 44mm Wastegates
    Tial 50mm BOV

    Lentech Strip Terminator 4R70W
    Hurst 1/4 Stick
    2.86 First Gear
    3.31 Gears
    Strange 35 Spline S-Trac Differential
    35 Spline Axles
    8.8 w/ Welded Tubes and 9” Ends

Team Z K-Member and Front Control Arms
    MM Coilovers
MM Torque Arm and Panhard Bar
    MM Extreme Duty LCA’s

Looks good to me. Quick spool and will make as much power as you want,I'm sure. What crank/rods in the motor? Wondering how much power the block will take, it seems the stock rods are the first to go in the stock assy.

Running Scat Pro Sport Rods, Scat 9000 Crank and Probe Forged Pistons. For what it’s worth the block has a DSS girdle and windage tray, I used PT9333 head gaskets and ARP studs.

I think a girdle is worth it,figure it has help some. How hard do you think you'll push the block,900-1000hp?

I’m not sure yet, the limiting factor will be my Glenn’s Performance 1000hp Sleeper Fuel System and my ID1050X injectors, I’ve got two 6AN feeds and two Walbro external pumps, since I’m running E85 I’m not sure what the capacity will he good for, I’d like to get everything dialed in and see what kind of power I make at 80-85% duty cycle and keep the thing alive for awhile and actually enjoy it.

According to deatschwerks Fuel Injector Calculator you can exceed 1000 hp
    Target Crank HP 1000
    # of Injectors 8
    Induction Type Turbocharged
    Fuel Type e85
    Max Duty Cycle %* 85%
Required Fuel Injector Static Flow Rate @43.5 PSI
    cc/min 1004
    lbs/hr 96

You can make it with that size injector. You just need to up the fuel pressure a little bit. My LS1 turbo setup just made 793whp which translates to close to 945 crank horse power at 88% injector at 58psi fuel pressure. I was wastegate limited, not fuel limited.
