Alright got the trans pulled and dropped off, rear main seal is swapped oil pan gasket swapped, waiting on the seal around the front hub and hopefully she will have no more leaks. Bent the drive shaft loop a little bc it looked like it was barely touching, washed the bottom of the car about 10 times. Last but not least started to rewire the nos. The previous owner said he was having problems with it. I will post pics by this weekend been really busy the last week. Should get the trans back tomorrow but my sons bday is this weekend and I have to go out of town for work next Thursday so hoping to get in the car by tuesday

Still waiting on my trans. I broke the shifter linkage when I pulled the trans and it has been on back order. Also had to go out of town for work, but I got almost all the undercoating off by the trans tunnel. Also made a plate for where the shifter was debating on keeping where it is or redoing the switch panel and moving it to the ash tray

Got my trans back today, but didn’t have time to put it in hopefully Tuesday or Wednesday I’ll have it in by. I did decide to completely relocate my shifter, so I fabbed up some panels. Still have to cover them and finish the holes but here r some pics B39D8A08-D862-4A1F-8CC9-B22E62448E38.jpeg #ad

I know I haven’t posted in a while but I’ve been super busy. I got the trans back put it in and drove the car for a weekend. I was having a lot of driveability problems some were the usual fox issues and one of them wasn’t. Every time I messed with the ac the car would shut off or run like shit. I figured no worries I’ll figure it out later And just won’t turn the ac on. Well the following weekend I changed the plugs and wires and the car started perfect. While it was idling I checked the trans fluid bc I had a small leak from the dipstick that I didn’t feel like fixing that day and wanted to make sure there was enough fluid for me and my son to go to a car show around the corner... well I shut the car down and that was it. It wouldn’t start again due to wiring issues. So I did what any sane car lover would do I gutted ever stitch of wiring in the whole car and started from scratch, and after I saw what came out it was a good decision. Also decided to upgrade the computer to a Holley hp while I was at it.
I will post some pics of the progress as soon as I can. So far I got almost all wiring out. I opened the Holley harness and relocated some wires for a cleaner install. I relocated the the fuel regulator off the firewall( I’m pretty sure that’s illegal for the track?) Installed the main harness but did not strap it yet.and built a board for under the passenger seat for my accessories and msd. I also think the way he had the pcv was way wrong so I’m putting it like a stock mustang with the exception of a oil separator. I think I’m about 2-3 weeks from starting her back up and driving probably another 2-3 weeks after that. I am getting anxious to get back on my turbo car!!! But in the mist of all this I also got a small warehouse I am moving into and out of my garage. My wife kicked my car stuff out lol. And I’ve been working out of town a lot lately. I should have some pics posted by tomorrow night.

Oh tell me where you got those subframe connectors. I'm loving the wires and lines through the tube.

New update... got the head light harness made. I pulled the dash one last time for touch ups and to do a little more wiring and reinstall the ac ducts. Temped up a little wiring and tried to restart the car. Something is up with the neutral safety switch on the shifter no big deal... jumped it out and started moving forward. Uploaded the new program. Then checked for fuel leaks. Well long story short the car is getting new rails bc the injector clips won’t let the passenger side rail seat properly to seal. I think the car came with 2 driver side rails. Had the rails but I’m waiting on one fitting so I can redo one line. Hopefully it will start this weekend.

Keep at it, car's gonna be sweet. Holley hp is a great unit. Are you going to use the nitrous controls in the hp?

Yes at first it will just trigger the nitrous. But I think eventually I will switch to their driver
