so I’ve been trying to understand cam selection and it stills seems to confuse me. I need help with choosing a cam for my engine.
87 350 chevy, forged h-beam 5.7” rods, forged flattop pistons bored 30 over, stock crank, going for Trickflow 64cc aluminum heads, victor jr. intake, blow thru mod Holley 650cfm, HX35 single turbo. Stock 350 trans and rear end (79 el Camino). Street car.
I plan on driving the car almost daily in the summer and need a good cam for this setup. Any suggestions? Thanks

comp 08-305-8 is a nice cam for this.
works with stock roller lifters and is quite tame with a little dug uh dug uh
has good lobes for forced induction

I have this in a very similar build and works very well.

Just be aware of overlap . Most turbo cams have LSA of 112 and higher .
