Lol, great minds think alike. Only differences are I'm running the baby twisted wedges (heavily ported) and aod. Even our rear gears are basically the same (I'm at 3.30's) what turbo are you running?

Went to a grudge night last night. 1.42 and 1.37 on the 60' times. Only 6.1 to the 1/8 at 110-115, something like that. 23 psi showing on the data. Not really sure what I'm doing that's seeming to slow it down.

Details on set up? Compression, cam, what turbo, base and full timing, also are valvesprings up to the task?

8.2:1 compression, S400 turbo, 59psi base fuel pressure, full timing is 23 degrees after 15psi. I have brodix track 1 heads with the springs they come with.

    Springs:
    1.550 Roller Valve Spring – GA 1000,
240 lb Closed, 550 lb Open,
    1.950 Installed Height,
    .700 Maximum Lift

    Cam:
    Intake Exhaust
    Duration (.050): 243 243
    Lobe Lift: .3883 .3883
    Separation: 114*
    Timing events (.050): Intake - Open: 13.5 Close: 49.5; Exhaust - Open: 61.5 Close: 1.5
    Gross valve lift: .582 .582
    Valve lash: .026 .026
    Duration (.020): 276 276
    Degree Intake lobe to 108

That seems like "allot of cam" for 8.2 compression in a 350ish engine to me. Lorne

Sounds well thought out but maybe increase timing with that low compression and What heat range plugs? And fuel octane? The cam will make it a little lazy off boost with 8.2 compression. I suggest more timing on the brake but it really seems like something is holding it back almost like back pressure because your not going any faster with increase in boost. Are you absolutely sure on the valvesprings? Did you test them and how old are they? Also what are you running for waste gate or gates, spring pressure and boost controller?

You could easily have 1 full point in compression. 8.2 is really low. I agree something is hurting it. 23lbs of boost is alot for 115mph. Should be up by atleast 4-7mph. Like weezer said double check your valve springs.

NGK -8 plugs there, same results with -10s on drag week. I'm using C16 fuel since I'm nonintercooled. I built it as a pump gas motor, so I got dished pistons at the time. The springs were tested before assembly and were within that range I posted, all I've done is drag week since then and I had similar results there. Now the springs are old, I believe I got the heads around 2008. Base timing is 38 degrees, I pull 5 degrees from 4 to 10psi, then I pull 10 more degrees to 15psi. I'm sure I have room to grow there, but again, I'd rather have room to add timing than wish I hadn't had so much.

Waste gate is VERY old. Do you remember the deltagate by Turbonetics? Yea, it's one of those. On the spring it makes around 10psi. For boost control, I really don't have anything going on, I just put the ebay controller on there, which doesn't work, and I get 20 something psi (I know I need something more legit, it's on the list).

After the race in Georgia this week, I'll get a real boost controller and possibly a modern wastegate if necessary. Then I'll go over to the shop here and put it on the dyno so I can make 1 change at a time and see what they do. Making changes in a pit and getting in staging lanes takes a ton of time.

also did you check trans fluid after sitting on the brake as long as you did ( watched video on fitech forum) you might have burnt the fluid and trans could be slipping!

With the rpm drop on gear shift, I wouldn't think so. Haven't looked at anything as far as fluid yet.

Iat around 250 without meth, 170 with.

Do you know if the snipers have the same injector impedance as the Fi techs?
Heard of anyone adding more injectors or bigger injectors to their 650hp sniper setup?

Whrn using the Fitech on a LS motor, that had no wiring harness, what other wiring is needed? I have the MSD 6010 box and harness. Is that used with the Fitech? Sorry, may seem like a dumb question.

Nah, not dumb. The fitech will have all the wiring you need for air and fuel delivery. I think the only wiring it needs from the stock stuff is signal for key on.
Depending on the model you may be able to set it up for timing control, but you don't have to.
