    Thanks Dave!

I'm far from being able to weld the way I want to. Just got to keep burning rod and screaming profanity. LOL

I got the shifter installed last night. I wish I would have gotten the rear cable exit. The cable is so high on the shifter you need a mile to punch it through the floor. We'll see how it works out. I got the upper core support done last night as well. This weekend I hope to install the Aerolatch hood latches and give another coat of paint to the engine bay IF the paint I have is still good.

I got the Aerolatches installed this weekend. We have a little something in the works that required some cosmetic upgrades. The engine bay got a face lift lol. It will be getting a pretty serious buff job as well. I also dropped my compressor housing, battery box, and trans cooler off to Wayne this weekend for some powder coating. He says he has some surprises up his sleeves. :)

I got my Trans cooler and Battery box back earlier this week from Wayne. Knocked it out the park once again!

Ive spent the last few nights reading this thread from the beginning to the end. What a big change this car has made from its days as a 2v running Ford stock internals with a turbo to now! Definitely my favorite Mod Motor car!

So what kept causing the chains to break?

When you give your buddy parts to be powder coated and he says "I got an idea"..... :)

Things are starting to move along now. I have everything for the motor minus my GT500 lash adjusters. The short block is together and I have a head on to check the PTV clearance tonight. If all is well I'll finish assembling the motor. Worst case I may put in another set of lash adjusters for the time being.

I'm very excited about the heads Modular Head Shop built for me. The car was pretty quick with the stock heads. She should be pretty nasty with these!

I also have to thank All American Crating for helping me along the way. They picked up the tab on a drum of Renegade Pro 120 me. No more cleaning injectors! My buddy Harmon went out of his way to ship me a specific tool I needed to finish up my block. What a life saver, I really appreciate it bro.

You cant see them in the short block but inside that oil pump are a set of OverKill Tool Steel Oil Pump Gears. The strongest gears on the market and MADE IN THE USA!

Kurtis, are those "B" or "C" style heads? Or did I miss some other design mod 4V head casting?

It’s a never ending cycle! Lol

Damn that blows. It’s pretty impressive though considering how much you drive it and let’s be real, you beat the shit out of that poor thing. Lol

I’m hoping to have it running this weekend or the first of next week. I would like to break it in a little and rescale the car. With any luck be testing in the next week or two.

I got the motor together this weekend and with a little help it's in the car. I have a few things to button up and then I have a lot piping to redo. :( I was hoping to have it running but that definitely is not happening. Maybe this weekend.
