    2. Next, hold the side of the gauge against the front of the pinion flange (beside the driveshaft). Write down this number (Note if angle is up{+} or down{-}).

yet another bump in the road

well it turns out that our aluminum billet hat from our aero space drag rear brakes is not getting along with our new axles from strange. The brake register in the strange axle is taper, it is 02.812 in the tip & 02.815 at the flange.
So we are gonna have to machine the axle register from our aero space hat from 02.700 to 02.817 & re drill the 1/2 wheel studs holes to snug fit over the strange studs sleeve.

    btw
the aero space 5/8 wheel stud holes in our brake hat are a tad too big over the size of the strange stud sleeves

ok thanks to our friend Terry we got our holes drill on our aerospace billet hat snug just rite.

But like always in this direct bolt on world that we live in
we run into another bump on the road

Now with the NEW Strange axels swap with no other differences in our setup our Aerospace billet aluminum hat will not work with the NEW axel setup.
Looks like the hat needs to be 1/4" shorter to work
    btw
Our rear brake setup is a Aerospace dual caliper Drag Race setup for c-clip eliminator that we been running since 1999 on a 99/04 New Edge Mustang with ABS
(we had it and work fine so we stick with it)

Are you running spacers between the rotor hat and axle flange?

Now we gonna make a new aluminum panel to match our new hood. So we can get this thing on the road. Next week state inspection and tags for our street car.
