Finally drove it home yesterday. Still need to do some bed to tire clearance before I start some street pulls... I can say it feels stout as hell without boost and can't wait to get some boost in it... IMG_20170517_163258.jpg #ad

I saw where you totaled this truck. Sorry to hear that. Looked like you had a replacement underway.

Yea, The short story is I had the carb off and after putting it back on. I noticed my throttle felt odd. When My daughter's wanted to go for a test drive. Throttle stuck while pulling out and I kicked the gas pedal to unhang it and it stuck further down and @ 40-45ish i killed ign by key switch and it locked my steering and before i could turn switch. Front tire dropped off edge of pavement and that was it... My 2 daughters weren't harmed, so all is good..

    Wow!
I read this whole thread for the first time this morning. Then I came up to Nortex's post and I was oh shit that sucks, then your post, man you are lucky could have been much worse. Glad you and your daughters are okay. Your new white one looks nice, hope your setup will make its way into that and good times again.
I would like to say this though and it is not mean't to say anything against you as not many people I have known over the years ever does this. It is so easy and can save your life if you are running with a stock steering column. It is so easy and inexpensive to have ignition and fuel pump kill switches. It really should be considered when building vehicles like this. Thank god the worst did not happen and I hate to sound like mr. Safety but I could not live with myself if I lost my kids because I had to turn the key off...

I'm curious about your rear wheel and tire combo. What size wheel and tire were you able to make fit under the fender? I saw where you said it was a 10" with a 325 but mine hang out about 2" with only 3/4" of clearance from the leaf spring. My combo is a 5.5" back spacing 10" wheel and 325/50 nitto radials.
