Help desiding what EFI management to run(on Gen 7 now:(

    I'll call AMP and see what they say, i get different info for everyone i talk to, i would just like this POS to run, Or sell.

    The Dealer told you that's what you need but is it really what you need. Profit margin is a lot more for the Dominator but if you can get by with an HP kit it keeps money in your pocket. The Dom and HP are almost identical ECUs so they both do the same thing the Dom will just do more of it. If I can help you out let me know, we can discuss your Actual needs, might get you going for a lot less then you thought.

    Thanks, Guys, I'm more than willing to accept help, So i am looking for a replacement EFI management system my Accel DFI is so outdated car cant be tuned/monitored.

    The thing is i don't want to get into an already aging system or one that Does Not have features i may need in the future, what features i may need you ask, Well im not sure, but im looking for the car to go into the low 8's eventually with a TH400 or powerglide.

    As of right now its a EFI 327 sbf with Iron Eagle block, Brodix Track 1 M2 heads, 601 lift soild roller, spyder intake, 90mm accufab TB, Precision 76mm turbo, 5 speed tko(i hate).

    Definitely, want to run the 7 inch LCD digital dash, boost control (at Least 3.5 bar), Dual sync, LS SMART COILS C.N.P(NOT FORD DUMB COILS!) ill be running E85, One that will control Fuel Pump (2 stage aeromotive 11104), Electric fan, TRANS Charge Pressure W/warning, Fuel/Oil Pressure w/warnings, Traction control down the line would be nice, front wheel speed (if needed), 2 or 3 step, An ECU that people can/will actually tune, some safety features i made/should use. Will be a street car also, but more race.

    There may be other stuff you guys may suggest i need. 64Fatblock i did look at the HP kit=PART# 550-606N you can PM if you want to.

    The HP will not do everything you want to eventually do .

    You would need the Dominator . Which also means you cant buy as a "kit" , you have to buy the main harness separate . Smart coil harness , input/output harness , sensors , ect .......separate .

    As blown385 stated above you want the Holley Dominator. The 550-606N is an HP kit, work excellent and that's what I'm running in my car but it doesn't have the capability to run everything you need it too. I can put together a price list for you.

    Dominator for a 1 unit to do everything but the ms gold box is also very good from what i have read. For trans control built in bump and traction control dominator is the only one out there.

    From what im told the Holly units won't control variable Ethanol content (E85- or E75 thru E100) So its either Pro 128 or
    MS3Pro ULTIMATE which is what ill run, if i keep the car.

    Holly wont control Trans brake, or bump box without extra boxes.
    The MS3Pro will tho, Fact is the MS3Pro does more for A LOT less money.

    Go on holley forum and adk danny corbal on there he is almost as good as enginnleers in answering questions. Holley will do flex fuel with gm sensor. I had hp system for na but for boosted street car it doesnt have the inputs and outputs i wanted. Also with one system for everything you can put in a lot better saftey thresholds to keep things alive. Fuel pressure sensor warned me of a bad pump before i was stranded...

    Im running Holley already .

    I was just asking what he meant by controlling a transbrake . I know what the Holley can do , but not sure why he says Holley cant control a trasbrake

    Another option is Haltech Elite 2500. All the same features of the other stand alone units. Really like the bump box and transbrake feature that's built in. Also has built in map sensor good up too 30 psi. Cheaper than Holley too.
