Hey all, looking at throwing and s400 and intercooler on my 79 Malibu sbc. I'm not too concerned with with intercooler piping and I have the ability to get headers but before trying to fab it all up is there anyone out there that makes a single turbo kit for these cars?? I've seen the cx racing twin kit but who knows how nice they are. Any help would be awesome. Thanks! Or if anyone has some pictures they could share of their car with a single turbo intercooler set up I would appreciate it. Thanks again! IMG_0867.jpg #ad

I'd probably experiment with the CX kit if I didn't feel like fabbing. They're half decent.

I've been considering selling this hotside so I can move my turbo behind the front bunper. SBC/LT1 stainless headers, T6 flange, 2.5" to 3.5" merge, 4.5" downpipe exits under the car. Under the car it goes from a single 4.5" to dual 3.5" with bullets and exits in front of the rear tires. V-bands throughout. PTE 66MM wastegate. Everything under the hood is wrapped. $1200 with the gate, $800 without. Located in the stl area.

I can tell you safely to avoid the XS power kit - it isn't worth the effort. Build your own manifold - cheap. Interms of getting the CAC into a G-body, I don't if there is an easier chassis to work on. Man is there a ton of room. Cutlass CAC in - Spring '15.JPG #ad

No meth. E85. If you're interested I can help with shipping. If I'm going to make a change I'm going to have to do it soon or I won't be able to run this year

Yes, we are running meth now, but not when it was first setup. And the headers do connect via a crossover that is under the pan. But those XS Power headers have cracked/leaked at least 10 times. We are in the process of building a new motor that is going to use flipped manifolds and crossover in the front witha T6 VS racing turbo.

Im sorry. I am a long way and many parts away from needing to order it yet. Still trying to get my shit together with timing and due systems and more research. Thank you for the offer though.

It's been quite reliable, but it comes on at 3 psi, so for normal driving it stays off. It uses very little until we can keep it under load for extended periods repeatedly.

Water meth is activated by a pressure switch. Most kits just activate full tilt at a set pressure. The razors kit is progressive, and works off of a map sensor iirc. Really popular with the turbo Buick guys. I ran 12psi on pump gas only on an 9.25:1 iron head 377 with a blow thru.
