Hi all, I'm new here. Been cruising the forum and reading information.

Some background, the car started as my dd when I turned 16. bolt on AOD car that made 189hp. I quickly added a 150 shot to keep up with my friend racing his mom's ls1 camaro.

I hit a deer and put it in a ditch through a barbed wire fence. Bumper, hood, both fenders were trashed. Along the way repairing it, I had a friend looking for a car he could use to build his resume to become an instructor at WyoTech so we cooked up this paint job.

I then built a h/c/i 331 for the car. My first go round with assembling an engine didn't go so hot and it lasted 3 months before a small error bit me in the ass. That was 2007.

Over the years the car has had many plans that havent ever finished. Mainly because I have too many toys and been building a Lightning. The truck kept getting faster which couldn't be faster than the car...

Fast forward to now and I'm trying to get serious with the car since the truck met my goal of 10's.

Built 5.4, billet rods, manley pistons, mmr stg 3 heads w/ oversized valves, 98 Cobra cams, Aussie boss intake, Pressurized Solutions manifolds

Pulled out the 8.8 with Baseline suspension for some upgrades.

Cut it up for a team z mini tub kit. Cut out spare tire well to make a flat floor with fuel cell underneath.

    Test fit new wheels

and that is pretty much caught up. Will have a braked TH400, Trying to decide on turbo size. Originally was thinking billet wheel 76mm, but now I am between 80mm and 88mm also.

Car is going to be a "street" car with main focus straight line performance. Want to get it into mid to high 8's.

Welcome, and that's a sharp car. I love the look with the new wheels.

Wow, nice! That's pretty close to where we want to go with ours. Wish my tech school had had that kind of teachers, lol!

    Very nice!
Quick question about the Pressurized Solutions exhaust manifolds. Are they custom built and do they clear the A/C compressor and power steering pump?
I have been keeping an eye out for headers and those are very nice and would work perfectly for my build (if they clear A/C and power steering).
    Thanks
    Ken

This is considered their "Renegade Kit" for a 5.4 4v in a foxbody. I doubt they were designed around the pumps, but I have both of them so I can check fitment.

After talking to Reggie from Turbonetics at SEMA, I think I'm looking at their 83mm turbo. Now that I'm back, work can resume.

Ran into a hold up which I was partly anticipating. My UPR K member is not going to work with my manifolds.

Thanks guys. I have a friend helping me with the welding and fab, but I'm having to learn a little quicker than I anticipated thanks to him starting a relationship with a new girl:grin:

Hopefully I can pull him away from her here to finally get the mini tub finished and then shorten, brace, and weld 9" ends to my 8.8. Once it gets back on the ground, I'll start on my tube front.

Put in an order for all my timing components from MMR over black friday. Also ordered a Team Z k member to clear my manifolds.

Got the new Team Z k member in finally. Should be plenty of room for my manifolds now.

Im torn on using this intake, it came with the engine I purchased and originally I was just going to sell it. I think at the very least I'll have to relocate the inlet to the front so I dont overload the center cylinders.
