It's been awhile since I've posted.. The falcon has been on the back burner, I've been really busy with work.
But I finally got my engine from the machine shop!! It's been a year and a half since I dropped it off. Not the machinists fault, it just took me awhile to pay for it.

Here's the rundown on the engine.

Dart iron eagle 8.2 deck height 333 cubic inches
Eagle 4340 crank, eagle h-beam rods
Je 17cc dish pistons for twisted wedge heads
    King bearings
    Total seal rings
Comp custom ground solid roller .570-.597 lift 114 LSA
Ported tw170s del west valves, with titanium locks and retainers
    Canton oil pan
Neutral balanced with power bond sfi balancer
    4150 Victor jr intake
EFI Spyder elbow with aeromotive billet rails
83 pound Siemens deka injectors for now
    CSI electric water pump
    Tuning with aem ems
Fully rolerized c4 from performance automatic
Standard bw s475 with home built hot side and cold side

I'm going to run this setup in the mustang till I finish the falcon.. when I finish the falcon I'll transfer the motor along with a powerglide into it. Also I'll be using a pair of precision gt4067hps turbos on the engine at that time... I'm going to try and get better at tuning on lower boost levels with the s475 in the fox first. The twins take up so much space in the mustang, that's why I'm using the s475 to start with.

That's a pic of the template my cousin made for me on his CNC plasma table.

We made the actual bracket out of 3/8 plate. It's very sturdy.. I'm using some old bbk shorties from a sn95 car. Got them for 50 bucks and they were already jet hot coated.. I'm using 2.25 mandrel bends for the hot side and merge.. I guess I'm just going to dump a 5in exhaust under the passenger side fender. I don't want to cut a hole in the car. I'll just angle out Infront of the tire I guess. IMG_20160922_142903231.jpg #ad

This is the actual bracket it also uses a gusset on the bottom side. I didn't take a picture of it. If anyone has any better ideas please feel free to share them with me thanks.

Thanks man. It's finally coming together. I'm loving this turbo mount we built. I'm probably going to build several different mounts. Thinking about building some t4 flange for the passenger side. Maybe even do some twin setups.

Started on the hot side today. It's going pretty good so far. Using 2.25 pipe, it fits in the t6 flange perfect.

Finished up the hotside yesterday, pretty much... Ran out of welding wire, should be able to totally finish the welds in 20min or so.. also have to install the waste gate. Still don't have one yet. Not sure what size I need? Im happy with everything so far. Also have to cut the pipes and install a couple v bands. IMG_20161002_111905991.jpg #ad

Thanks man, your Challenger is a bad ass ride... I finally got motivated enough to try and get some stuff finished.. as soon as I get it running I'm going to try and finish all the sheet metal in the falcon, that's when the fun will start!!

I picked up a couple 2.25 flex joints today. Does anyone have any suggestions about running just one on the crossover? Or should I run two? Thanks.

One should be just fine. there should not be much (if any) movement between the headers. Nice build!
