CX racing BBC manifolds/headers kit

    You could always add two borgeson u-joints and a section of double "D" shaft through a large hiem joint to go around the headers, it's pretty easy
    Really. Did it on a friends '40 Chevy , put a BBC in it, set back real far, balancer was behind the front wheel centerline, distributor was actually inside the pass. Compartment. Tight fit, but boy did that car launch! I'll have to see if I have any pictures of that...

    Thats a nice looking kit. The only concern I see is unsupported turbos, might crack the headers?

    That sounds like an interesting idea. The clearance issue would definitely be right there close to driver side firewall. I'd have see something like that. But yes. One thing unique about the Monte Carlo compared to the chevelle is the engine is recessed back a few more inches for better balance. After all, they built it with the idea that it would compete for NASCAR.

    I'm already looking at my front accessory brackets for ideas on how I can mount some kind of brace.
