Looking at the pic of the motor in the first post with the flipped shorties it mounts them fairly high what all did you have to move or delete to fit them in, not a lot of room under those hoods. Any pic's on how they set in the car, and how much boost are you going to run on it, stock block but it has rods & pistons you can push 500 . That would make for a fun driving Lincoln.

Only think I had to do was shorten the neck on the PS pump reservoir. The turbos sit in the front corners and the DP's go up and over the valve covers.

I will see if I can dig up some pics, but I didn't take many back then so all I have are ones that other people took.

Cool Build. I'm looking at buying a 92 LSC and want to put a turbo 408 in it.

    Thanks!!!!

Here is the same kit after I built it on the last Lincoln. Everything will be pretty much the same on the turbo kit itself save for the new turbos.

Before I start searching around... I'm at the beginning of a very similar build on my LSC, and just read though this whole thread. Love it! Any chance for an update?

He hasn't quit, he drops in every week or so and makes a post. He posted as recently as last week and according to a discussion we've had he's been traveling quite a bit.

I've got a set of the 57s on my jeep with an ls 4.8 and they seem to be fine, I just put them on and only have a few hundred miles on them though. On a 4.8 they spool almost instantly, tuning the motor has been a challenge since its at 100+kpa by 2400 rpm! I'm gonna be ordering a nice stall converter in the near future.

eBay. Cheap 150 each. Still going strong. Thing is silly fast. In fact I just popped a Dana 44 rear end with it. Make sure to use oil restrictors and they should last just fine. Making 15 pounds on e85.

Running internal gates and 2.5 exhaust with no IC. These turbos might be a little small for someone wanting to max out the potential of a 4.8, but for me this setup works well. I have beat the snot out of this thing for the past 2plus years and have been very happy.
