Sweet set up! Once I outgrow/destroy my 302 with a 76/68, I am going to throw in my 97 351w currently laying in the corner.

How do you like the turbo? I have been talking with (more like annoying) Viren regarding turbo selection. I really dig the new billet S480 he carries, but not sure I have the space and would make life easier to keep it T4. That said, I have it narrowed to his 78/75, 77/83, or 88/83.

I vote you make a build page, I am sure you have accumulated a stockpile of pics!

Nice it looks like there is quite a bit left in this set up. That 60ft is still a bit weak for that combo and you could easily knock another .10 off of it with not much.

Car has gone 1.45 on a 10.7 run on 8 lbs. Goal this year is to be 9.8-9.9 on 13lbs and next year turn it up after I get my competition license. Hoping to drive to track run high 8's and drive home. Those runs were done on absolutely no cool down time at all as per true street rules. I believe it would have been a 9. With some cool down time.

Well, the morning after the true street race I checked the valve lash after which I fired it up and heard the dreaded rod knock. After teardown I found only one spun rod bearing. I guess it didn't like the heat or the to tight bearing clearances. I'm all ready in the process of ordering a dart shp 351w block. I also all ready have a stock stroke billet crank and 6.2" venolia aluminum rods which only have maybe 12 runs on them. I'm not scared of running aluminum rods on the street. And New custom hydraulic roller grind to take advantage of the rpm potential. Trying for 900 to 1000rwhp with the Chinese pt88 turbo.

Where did you end up ordering the Dart block from? I was thinking about building a SHP based engine over the winter. Thanks 93Weezer!

Very good machine shop in my area. The specialize in ls stuff but work a lot with ford's as well. Good to order it from machine shop that's going to do the work for a; best price and b; they can thoroughly check it out for casting flaws so if there is its in there hands not yours..I can get it from them for $1800 and no shipping fees.
