what are you guys doing to prevent it from going fat on the 2-step ?

Will it see a lean condition on the 2-step and dump fuel ?

is there a way to disable closed loop under a certain RPM and tune manually .

is there a way to tune all fuel cells manually ?

I copied this but this is one of my questions also!

I doesn't go fat or lean on the two step according to the log, but I will go back and check. I dont really want to stop it from tuning live as it has worked flawless so far.
And if there is a way to tune cells I really wouldn't cause it works just fine , probably would have bought the Holley or mega squirt and kept myself busy on the laptop fine tuning ( just wanna drive and have fun instead)

Nice ride looks like its coming together.
Noticed the Sask plates I was just there a few days ago for a job assignment and was surprised on how may cars were floating around on the roads up there. I figured there would be a car meet somewhere but couldn't find one. ON a side note your mosquitos are vicious.!!!

Well two transmissions later I've got the car down the 1/4 mile decently. The Fitech Efi has worked flawless with afr's very close to target. This time on the glide I put I the Tsi 10 friction drum , 6 frictions on the low reverse and put in Tsi 's 1.80 straight cut planatary. The 60 foot times have come right around with the car actually 60 footing in the 1.30's and 1/8 mile times in the 5.80's. This weekend the car ran a personal best of a 9.04 @ 153 on 22 lbs but on the previous run went a 9.16 @ 151 on 17 lbs lol . The car is finally coming around

Man your car is flying. I have the fitech 1200 also and love it for the most part. Has yours ever just died for no reason after you drive it for a while or do anything funny? When mine does the rpms go to 59990 and freezes. But it will start right back but might die again. Glad you're is running so good. What's it run in the 8th?

I've had no real issues so far. I've never had it die or anything like that . Best 1/8 mile time was a 5.84 I believe

Silverbullet: could u share with me how u ran wiring for 2step etc?

im on a 358w SBF with all MSD with 6ALBTM... Do I have to change up my transbrake/2step? Or fiddle with anything? Currently running 36* locked out @ let the BTM pull timing as boost increases... 15* total retard... @ WOT...

does the handheld work the same? U just tell it and I'd references thru the FPR on the Fitech?

as I see it now I shouldn't have to change anything other than a wire from Fitech to relay in trunk for fuel pump, and take off the ignition retard cause the new system will work that. That correct or am I missing something?

    thanks...

For me anyways I ran the fitech wire ( whichever one it is i cant remember )to the fuel pump relay to fire the pump on key and as far as the two step I just continue as it was with the carb. Fitech controls nothing but fueling.

So your not using the timing feature from the Fitech running timing thru the points with dizzy locked out?

ok... Talking to Kirk that's what he recommends but then I've got to load timing values etc from boost and what not...

Your system sound silly simple... What controls your timing?

Keep in mind I have an ls so I have no distributer, as far as controlling timing I run the msd 6012 so through it controlling timing as a breeze

Mine is the same as Silverbulletman it just runs fuel my timing is controlled with 7531 box, mine is just main wire to battery, white wire switch 12V that's it, my fuel pump is stil on a toggle switch, I plan on wiring up the fan to it later though.

Congrats! That thing is FLYING! That discussion about the parachute & other items is bound to happen, however I really don't think I would mind...with a "stock looking" car like that it would almost be an honor. I can see it now...the guy that runs the track says: "Hey Fred, Go tell that Red Camaro he's going to need a 'cute & stuff next time when he comes back" Fred walks over & says: "He told me to go tell the Red Camaro about having a 'chute, That's not you Right?" Ha Ha

Glad to hear the FItech is working so well for you...I recently purchased one myself. Lorne

I think you'll like the fitech! As far as the chute....the mount for it is already behind the bumper and I have to finish the rest of the mount. Also have the chute and cable sitting here too. I'm sick of sitting on the sidelines so we will b goin legit for next year.

Do you have the Fitech hook up to a laptop are like a surface pro and another ? do you just click on data log just before you stage to log your runs.

Before I run I just hit datalog on the Fitech. When I get back I hook the laptop up and have a peekaboo of the pass.

Ya we're raining here too. I had the car out on Sat , by the sounds of it my brakes are toast. I checked and cleaned my front brakes before I went to the races , but upon checking them after the races I found the caliper pistons not fully retracted due to brake dust. I cleaned them but now it sounds like my backs ones are toast.....great. Car was making other strange noises too , hopefully not diff related.

I know previously you said you weren't having any issues with your O2 sensor and the A/R during ur 2 step and staging. I was just wondering if this was still true after having more experience with the new setup? if you have been fouling sensors or anything of the sort?

I ask because my setup is similar - twin 76mm turbo, ls2, 4500stall with 6010 msd and looking at putting a fitech 1200 on

Nothing has changed.....that system has been flawless right to the end of the year here. I have had 0 issues with sensors as well. But i do use VP ms109 unleaded in it so that definitely helps. Other good news is that I have pulled the motor down. After tree years of beating on it it looks better then it did when I put it in with the pistons showing a great wash with 0 detonation . I very pleased.
