Since I couldn't get the motor back together I decided to tackle some interior stuff. Had my buddy over and we were going to make some seat brackets and mount the Kirkey seats I had. Good news is I got a great deal on the seats a while back...bad news is that 20" Kirkeys won't mount in the car without some major floor surgery.
With that said, I made a big order from Summit to get the rest of the motor parts and new seats. Rings will be here tomorrow but the head gaskets are on back-order. Seats will be here Monday, I can 't work on anything until Monday anyway due to pool league and tournaments this weekend.

Right now I am waiting on the UPS truck to deliver my new Strange S60 rear....

Got my new 18" Kirkeys in today. All the engine rebuild rings and gaskets are here except for the head gaskets. Kind of need those to finish assembly.
Picking up the PTFE fuel line this week. Have not laid out the fuel system yet other than knowing how much line to get. Still have to figure out how many of each type fitting is needed

Yeah, not looking forward to that part but at least I am only down to lines and fittings. All the big stuff is already paid for

Yes, it sold right away. Sorry, no updates for a while. Life issues. Had some unexpected bills come up so the project went into hibernation.
replaced the ring I broke while re-gapping them, had to replace one bearing as well. Still have to send my new 9 yr old PTC converter back to PTC to make it turbo friendly and buy some sort of turbo headers unless someone can convince me to buy some BBC Log manifolds

Sent my converter back to PTC to get one matched for the motor and turbo setup. A 9.5" steel stator model. calling Jardine headers tomorrow to get those in the works. Both places are about 3-4 weeks behind. This will give me time to sort out a few other things like getting the new S60 rear in the car. It's been sitting under the car but not mounted because it didn't come with the upper bushings...and I don't have heat in the garage.
Also still have to get the motor back together since I regapped the rings except for the one that I broke while re-installing. Hoping to get a lot of the fab stuff done this summer. Not sure how long before it will run since I still have to save up for the computer/wiring to run the EFI. Time will tell

Been doing a little parts collecting a little work on the BU. Finally bolted in the Strange S60 rear. Still have to weld on the tabs for the anti-roll bar. New converter is back from PTC. Bought a trans cooler with fan. TRZ had a Labor day sale so I splurged and bought upper & lower A-Arms and Strange front brakes. Stripped off the stock a-arms and brakes along with the factory brakes lines. Noticed a few areas that were dented in so better to place them, including the proportioning valve. Still have to remove the solid motor mounts since I will be going with motor plates but I will leave them there to help lines up the motor to mark where I want the plates to go.
Also decided to go with AFCO coil over in the front. Should be ordering those this week

    More life changes...
Colorado was not good for me. After 9 years there I had to move to a lower elevation. Living at the high altitude (7000ft) was causing my blood to thicken due to the lack of oxygen there. Was getting dizzy every time I stood up and heart was pumping so hard when sleeping I was waking up with panic attacks. In N. Alabama now and have a drag strip 20 minutes from the house.
What's new with the car? Not a lot. I did go with Jardine up and forward headers although they are still in the box, along with most everything else. Made a good friend here that is heavy into drag racing and he wants to help me get this turd moving. Hoping for some progress this year
