    Bat to engine block
    Block to firewall/ chassis
Never had a trans ground on any mustang i've owned?

On my car I have a ground going from battery to engine block and a second going to the intake manifold. I also have one from the bell-housing bolt (maybe that would be the trans ground he was speaking of?) to the firewall which is braided. There is also one for the injector harness bolted to the back of the block fwiw.

See I have all those except the bell housing one. I have an appointment today at 10:00 so cross my fingers they find out and fix the problem.

I don't know if it will help but I fought a noisy ignition signal in megasquirt for a long time and it ended up being an incorrect setting in the software. I needed to use Falling Edge for the way my board was built, here is my thread in case it helps at all:

not using megasqurt at the moment. using moates with stock A9P ecu.

So i took it to the 2fast garage in my area. Spoke with the owner for about an hour, real knowledgeable guy. He gave me a few things I can do at home, to save time and money on my end. So I thought that was great. He didnt even charge me for the time he spent with me. So got home and drained mt antifreeze, took of my coolant elbow for new gasket. In the process of taking hot side off so he can match the gaskets to the flanges, via weld and mill. Just purchased dei [DEI 010475 - DEI Titanium Protect-A-Boots & Protect-A-Sleeve} because i have burned up two sets of spark plug wires in the #4 position.

So hope to get everything off by tomorrow afternoon, after work. So he can start the flange match. As for the miss fire I think the ark of the burnt wire is the culprit of this mess. Hope to move forward. Add waterwetter for coolant.....

ok all, I need some advice. I have real low oil pressure when the temp is warmed up. (Im seeing 10psi on my autometer guage). I am running a wix mini filter, a melling HV oil pump, and running rotella tripple protection 10w-30 sae oil. What oil should i change to to get my psi up. I know the rule of thumb is 10psi for every 1000 rpm....

    15-50 synthetic
20-50 castrol gtx (broken in engine)

Will this help me in my situation

    Thank you.

Side note, when i pour the oil catch can out, it seemed a bit frothy at the bottom of it. Whats that all about?

I always used Shell Rotella 15w-40, should help pressure out a bit.

today's update. Installed the distilled water(2 gallons) and waterwetter. Put new oil and filter in. Using 20W-50 GTX. 7 qts. New spark plugs and put hot side back on. Wrapped my spark plug wires that are close to the manifold.... Installed the vortech radiator reroute hose. Cranked her over and waited for the coolant to heat up.....hope i burped the system correctly. Also I put my cobra grille in the bumper, so that should help cooling.

Took the car out today. saw about 9-10 psi of boost on full load. oil pressure is at 20 warm idle, seeing 40 on throttle. coolant temps are about at half way on the stock guage...holds steady there. Moved the oil feed away from the hot side, and need to fix my radiator hose elbow leak. Might have stripped the aluminum, so drill n tap that this weekend. Other than that, Im happy to say its running okay for now. Pulls had.

so i have decided to rewire the whole car. Who ever owned this car before me hacked the shit out of this harness...So for piece of mind and not having to run into electrical gremlins, A rewire is in order. Also ordered new valve covers....hope these ones line up better than what is on the heads now.....A B&M trans cooler, drive train loop...

What i still need to do/order:
-90* spark plug wire boots (I keep kicking my boots off and causing a miss)
    -rear tourque box reinforcements
    -weld seams
    -reroute fuel hose
-might as well purchase upper and lower control arms
    -redo battery tie down
-thinking about ordering a k member
    -redo fuel pump bracket
    -waste gate vacuum dilemma

Wow seems like you still have a ton of work ahead of you!

Just a suggestion.. it may be easier just to locate a new ecm harness/ injector harness and just remove the old stuff repair it and resell it.

What's going on with the wastegate?

    Update:
So mustang is getting a complete rewire still. I have a photo of what the shop did below. Its at 2fast garage in North Tonawanda NY. Cant say enough good things about the owner, Brian Prior

Any ways, got new valve covers on and welded bung for catch can. New B&M transmission cooler installed. Relocated fuel hoses. Better mounting of the fuel pump. Putting in 90* plug wires. Better battery tie down. Fixing my Speedo cable again. Installing line lock. install 6AL and gas ventilation.

Now I have a question for you all. Im really contemplating on getting better quality BOV and Waste gate. Now I have on the car a cheap ebay 50mm BOV and a godpeed 44mm wastegate. I dont know if i have that backwards as in i need a bigger WG say a 60 and keep the 50mm size but different brand. Mostly leaning towards JGS for both. I would really like your input on this as I have no clue. Thank you much for the help thus far.

as for winter mods will be weld up torque boxes, Install drive shaft loop. Weld in frame bars. Extend hub lug studs

    • Higher efficiency and faster transient response for maximum power and performance
    • 76mm inducer compressor wheel
    • Compressor cover options:
    - "H" compressor cover 4.0" inlet/3.00" outlet
    - "Ported H" compressor cover 4.0" inlet/3.00" outlet
    • 75mm, 84 trim turbine wheel
    • Turbine housing options:
    - T4 Tangential .81, or .96 A/R with 3 5/8" OD (outer diameter) V-Band discharge

I have one of these on my R349. I love it, extremely quick to spool. I hope you got the .96 housing because the .81 hit a wall at 5600 on my motor. Backpressure is a bit of an issue but it should be way ahead of an on3 unit.

Nice!!!! It should be a whole lot different then the china turbo, plus it will make more power everywhere.

Listen to silver82GT on the turbine housing, we've discussed this a good bit!

Damn it's the .81......I'll see how this works and probably be kicking my self.....hope backpressue won't blow out cylinder 4 by the wasegate. Have that 3.5" exhaust that's a problem too. F@#k
