Decided to just get some new TW 11R heads and a solid roller cam. Ordered the heads and cam this week, should be 2-3 weeks before I get them. Going to just put my current TW 205cnc heads on my sons car. Don't feel like spending the rest right now on a new shortblock.

Until it can't keep up, yes I am. Right now it's hanging in there just fine.

Who did you get the cam from? If you don't mind telling.

Lil Johns Motorsport Solutions is spec'in the new cam for me. If I remember correctly, it's going to be in the 250/252 duration range and .650 lift range. He called it a baby cam lol I told him I wasn't looking for a radical cam, just something with a nice power band and good street manors.

Yeah, haven't read to many people running them. But figure it can't hurt to move to a 2.08 valve. I asked a few people that I know that ports heads etc and they seemed impressed with the "published" numbers. Since I'm getting the heads from TEA they will be putting them on a flow bench also.

What mods are done to the aod to make it stand up to the track abuse, thanks.

4r70w output shaft from like a 99/00 (whatever the last year was that still had a speedo gear on it) trans, since I snapped 2 of the AOD output shafts.
    4r70w wide ratio parts
Dirty Dog (www.clickclickracing.com) put together the hard parts, with the strongest he could piece together of the AOD parts/years
PA Manual Valve Body with Transbrake
    PTC Lockup Conveter
    TCI Lockup shaft
Local transmission guy does the building for me.

The valve body is a big part of it I believe.

Lil Johns Motorsport Solutions has been making a pretty good name for himself.

Lifters and rockers are now on my list. Not sure which to get on either. Thinking about going shaft rockers. E-mailed T&D and they don't have a set yet for the TFS 11R, said no one has sent them one yet to mock up.

TEA worked the heads a bit. Better valves for the solid roller, PAC springs 260# closed. (my old heads with the hyd cam was only like 150).

More new toys for the heads :)

Ordered them from Tommy Romeo. He is a Jessel dealer and was great to work with. Gave me a great price on the rockers. His phone number is 267-446-3525.
