One tooth. All it does is tell the ECU that the cylinder 1 magnet is coming on the crank trigger.

The 1 reluctor is to tell the ecu where the cam is. The ecu needs to know when the compression stroke.

I was being more literal. My trigger offset is 40 degrees before tdc --- my cam
Sync is 25 degrees before the magnet on the trigger wheel crosses the sensor for cylinder number 1, positively identifying cylinder 1.

The cam sync is seen at 65 BTDC on cylinder 1.

I messed with this more then needed because I had a bad cam sensor and thought it was in my setup.

You posted while I was typing. Not trying to correct you.

I didn't understand the cam sync part for awhile until it finally came to me. I have my trigger at 50 degrees because I couldn't get my mount to go to 40. My cam sync is 80-90.

so this because you run sequential fuel injection. so do you use a 36-1 crank wheel?

    Yes, I am running sequential.

I am using an MSD flying magnet crank trigger kit which has a wheel with 4 magnets.

Close to ready for the Import Domestic World Finals at MIR.

I installed a DJ Safety engine diaper tonight. Actually wasn't as bad as I thought. Doesn't fit well around the oil filter, I guess they assume it will be relocated (which I will be doing this winter).

I pulled the full 4 inch aluminum exhaust off. I'm going to run a small extension pipe and no muffler for this race.

    Oil is changed.

I am going to lean the car out a little bit prior to going back out.

Looking forward to this race even if I am outgunned.

Because I am in a sea of race cars I am qualified at 22/32 spots. Going to keep working at it through two more qualifying passes today.

I don't think it is just the 76, I really had time to work on making it work.

Larry Albright gets credit for nailing what I should put in the AMS to get it to work right.

Looking forward to working on the 88 in preparation for Bradenton.

If somebody cared it would matter.
