Awsome thanks Ken. Does HP Tunes allow for data logging?

Cobra PCM will handle up to 2000 cc injectors, or roughly 190 lb/hr.

Yes, HP does allow for data logging, though personally I prefer SCT for logging, since it allow easy addition of an external data source (O2, EGT, etc).

I am gonna answer this with out trying to piss in anyone else's cheerio's, just because you asked me.
Also, not trying to take anything away from any SCT or HP tuners.
This was just our personal experience & hope not to get penalized for sharing with you what we went through

for us to support 1200rwhp with the oem pcm on our 2003 Cobra we have to buy :

SCT Pro Racer Package $820 <our base file was from Ken @ The Modular Depot>
SCT MAF $250 < end up buying two, because we peg the 1st one & they suggested upgrading to a new unit>
    SCT MAF adapter $25
    MAF extender $171
    KB boost a spark $249
    eBoost 2 boost controller $571
    LM1 wide band kit $289
    Boost gauge $67
    fuel pressure guague $223
Acceleronics VeraFueler injector driver $269 <to run the 160's lbs.>

at the end we end up with a stand alone system

If you do a SEARCH you will see that 99.9% of all the quickes cobras / mod motors in the world at some point had step up to a stand alone system

Now these days look's like the HOT TICKET is HOLLEY Pro EFI.< so easy to tune & adjust>
never again any issues anywhere or anything else to buy .
Just go straight to the laptop data log & adjust for track conditions & GO.

here is one of the sale invoices .

Don't take my word for it, or 99TTGT's, go to Modular Fords (probably the best Cobra tech there bar none) and SVT Performance, ask around. They maintain a list on both sites of the fastest Cobras.

PS, SCT Pro Racer + base tune $349 http://www.lasotaracing.com/MOPRP.html
You need the gauges either way.

That's the all modular list which obviously I am aware of. I'm talking about the pure Termi Cobra lists maintained by the Terminator guys - where you know they all have at least a 27Mhz processor, not all modulars did. Others ran at 18, 21, 24, 27 Mhz, etc.

I opted to switch over to a ProEFI on my car. Not the cheapest but one of the best IMO for built-in safety features. It has a ton of control. Also, it is primarily designed for a turbo set-up. I don't have an '03/'04 so it was not plug and play on my car. The OEM ECU can't control ID2000's for example at idle on pump gas. It just seems when you are pushing 1000+rwhp on a turbo set-up, it's best to go to a speed density system (no maf) and go to a system that will control things better and protect your engine.

I'm not sure what cc or lbs injector ID2000's are ,I'm assuming 2000cc? If they are 2000cc, Ken just said my PCM will handle them. If I decide to not go e85, I'm thinking my 80lbs injectors should handle 1000hp on c16 and I could go to 160lbers if nessesary. I can see myself going with a Holley Dominator system but if I can use my OEM PCM to handle what I need then I'm willing to try it and see.

I can't remember the exact cc's because they flow theirs with a fluid other than what other injector companies do. But they are around 2000cc's. Several well respected tuners (Eric Brooks/owner of Modular Fords Forum being one) have attempted to get the '03 PCM to idle them on gasoline and they won't. On E85, yes. A local tuner experienced the same thing. I can't reemember exactly but I believe there is a minimum PW lower limit in the OEM PCM that won't allow the PW to be set low enough. With the ProEFI, I can command a 16:1 a/f at idle if I wanted to with these injectors.

Also, it just makes sense with cars of this caliber to go with a stand alone. With dual wideband O2 feedback/correction, you can get more precise fueling bank to bank among other things. The data logging capability is pretty crazy also. At least with the ProEFI, it has the flex fuel capability which adjusts everything based on what's in the tank. So you can have any percentage of alcohol in the tank and it will adjust the fueling, boost, etc. I'm sure other systems can do this also.
