I have a 5.3 in a new edge mustang, with truck manifolds flipped. The passenger side is simple but the driver side is a really tight turn to get to the turbo. Any advice as to how I can make a really tight turn. Going through others builds it looks like you can cut the pipes at angles and just weld a bunch of smaller pieces together. Im pretty lost and open to any ideas, Thanks

You can buy tight radius mandrel bends, or even "donuts" check Columbia River Mandrel Bending.

I made my passenger side out of tiny pieces of 90s and welded them together since my turbo is close to the collector. Ive even done that for intercooler piping to go around fans and whatnot

In my build thread yea. It takes clean cuts so you dont have to big of gaps to fill. I used flux core since I weld outside and I plan on wrap anyhow so dont mind the lumpy welds lol

You could also use "weld-els" basically forged or cast elbows available in very tight radii if you dont want to weld a bunch of slices together. Either route will work, but if your welding a bunch of "slivers" together to make a tight turn just be sure you get all wire, spatter and any other debris broken free from inside pipe before firing the car up.

we were worried about this also, so we built a cover plate for the turbine housing, so we could run only the turbine housing without the turbine and center section installed

Shake and Bake, tape off the inlet and outlet of the pipe that needs a internal cleaning and fill it with rocks of various sizes and shake the snot out of it.

Flex shaft wire wheel, and chains pulled thru the piping helps. I also filled mine with brake cleaner and lit that shit on fire to burn all the mandrel bending grease residue out of the pipes... makes a nice thump sound and flame show too!
