Yep no big on talking about your car on my build, information is always helpful to any one looking.. I'm assuming you meant 7675 CEA not 7657.. Cause that would be crazy small..
Your doing almost the exact thing I want to do is take a run at the open mile..
950 or so wheel HP is getting close to max on 7675. Not sure how many people have gone past that.

My bad, yes 7675(fat finger) http://youtu.be/PtV0jZ4q0k4 If you watch the video, you will see me looking down at the gauges cause car is falling on its face. I shifted into 5th gear but the load was just too much with 2.73 rear gears.

I would really like to do a kit like you did but with power steering pump and AC compressor its just too hard. The computer and fused box where your Turbo is mounted is also a issue.

Do you think a 3.08 gear or 3.27 be better?
Did not catch what your max speed was?

How was tech at the mile? I have not read the rules for cars wanting to 200..

Gears are going to depend on your tire size, how high you are willing to rev and what gear you want to finish in. I have always had a goal of 200mph and I have 18inch wheels, finding a (Y) rated tire was my biggest obstacle. I wanted to finish in 4th gear and was willing to spin to 7500rpm, the largest tire I could find was a 285/40-18 (26.2" tall). With a 2.73 gear, I calculated being able to run 211. I am tech'd to run 214, you will need at least a 4 point roll bar, 2lb fire extinguisher, SA2005 or better full face helmet, DOT Tires rated to the speed you want to run, SFI gloves and SFI Belts. Its pretty easy but here are 2013 rules https://www.texasmile.net/pdf/TexasMileRRTS_2013-2-Edition.pdf There is a licensing process, they don't let you go out and run 200 on the 1st pass. Your first pass must be between 145-165, 2nd pass must be between 165-199 and then you are allowed to run between 200-214. If you run slower or faster than your license then you do not get to the next level, its called a controlled run and running the proper speed is part of being in control.

With your 4 valve, you might get away with 3.08s since you can easily spin to 8000. Without doing math, I think a 3.27 will require 5th gear unless you are willing to spin it to the moon. I ran 185 on my 2nd pass before my waste gate pipe broke, I chose to call it a day since the car was falling on its face in the higher rpms and I didn't feel I would be able to hit 200. I am going to begin taking back pressure measurements and either redesign some things on my kit or get a bigger Turbo. I will be back in spring of 2014 and try to hit the 200mph goal.

Yeah that question for you. Sorry I did not truly ask that way.,
For your car was the rpm in final gear just to low for it to pull past it.. Do you think a 3.08 gear would help your car? Cause it looked dead in final gear..

It was dead in the final gear, some could be because the waste gate pipe broke and it took longer to respell. Datalog showed I lost 6mph from the time I shifted out of 4th and into 5th. In the final seconds I was in 5th, I made up that 6 and 2 more. I suppose a 3.31 would have been a bandaid for the back pressure and lack of power above 5500, with 3.31s I might have been able to shift in 5th and go faster. I plan on fixing the back pressure issue and hopefully making power to at least 7500, I am keeping the 2.73s and will try again in spring. We didn't find out about issues until a day before the race, my car got finished in May and we only tuned for 15.5 psi. We turned up the boost 2 days before the race and found out I had issues.

It was my 1st event, while I didn't make the goal. I feel I have some good data and experience to hopefully reach the goal in spring.

Whoa.. that's a nice looking sn95! You should have painted the engine bay body color though to set off the black on the motor.

    /nitpicking.

    Thanks for compliment

It was red but I hated it.. Plus the red paint is a tri coat paint and it a pain to deal with.. And expensive ..

I all about black engine bays..

Nice looking car and clean install. I can't blame you for the black engine bay. Just a little throwback to the 60's 'Stangs that all had black bays. I think it looks good.

Car looks great! What ignition did you use with the XIM, Ford COP or LS Coils? If LS Coils where did you mount them?

    No passes as of yet..
Had to remove engine after an unfortunate loss of oil pressure..

Oil bypass came out.. Brand new pump with mmr gears..
Did not even think to check it..
Had to polish crank and replace bearings..
Happened idling in my shop.. Or it would have been much worse..

Damn sorry to hear that. You're right it could have been way worse though. I kick myself in the ass for not putting some billet rods in my motor. My biggest regret so far.

I can say the no oil pressure will not happen again like that..
I did the new XFI firmware update and added fuel and oil pressure.. Now car will die if XFI sees less than 20psi.. Is the value I set..
And being able to data log fuel and oil pressure is a added bonus
