Looking to make around 625-650 pump 750 race gas with a 4.6 2 valve. TKO 600 stays for now. Patriot Stg II heads, MHS stg 2 turbo cams, Edelbrock intake, 6061 plenum, ect. Looking at PT 5858 CEA w/.48AR any thoughts? thinking to keep the exhaust small to respond better with a manual. Car spends most of its time on the street but does see the strip about 6-10 times a year.

    Thanks.

You don't need/want the exhaust that small with a twin setup billet/cea wheels. IMHO you can make your power goals with a single billet 6765-7070 .81-.96ar rather easy. If you are going twins I would do a T3 housing vband out with a .63-.82ar. something in the 58-62mm range is fine.

My setup will be 3v 4.6L will be twin CT3-6265 billet wheel triple ceramic ball bearing oil-less with .82 ar. Going for 550rwhp street tune and 800rwhp race tune.

Those would be good for what you are looking to do. I made over 1000rwhp with "old school" Precision 5857's with a cast compressor wheel. With Precision's new CEA and billet compressor wheel, they will spool fast. One thing.... I don't think they offer them in the .48 a/r housing anymore. Even if they did, you should go with the .63 (that's what I had).

Thanks for the info. PT 5858 w/.63 AR will most likely be my choice. Not looking to make 1000whp but, it would be great to make my hp goal with minimal lag and with relatively low boost. Also looks like I would have room to grow.

Yes, they will spool fast and you still have plenty of room if you want to push them harder.
