Hey guys and gals. Was a member on here for a little while then kinda went away and changed plans. I had a 93 Cobra that I was going to turbo, then got a trade offer for the car for my current Mustang. I even had a B&G stage 1 kit for the car that was still in the box. The kit was great quality and I hate I didn't get to use it but the deal was too good to turn down.

I don't regret doing it, I got a show quality car that's been featured in both MM&FF and 5.0 Mustang and Super Fords magazine. I didn't build the car but Im proud of it none the same! The car has a forged 347 with a stock block, with a Vortech S-trim on it pushing 8lbs of boost and made 522hp and 497trq to the tires.

Anyway, In about 2 years Im planning on making some changes to the car. Ive tossed around the ideas of keeping the 347 and selling the S-Trim and going with a YSI, getting rid of the 347 and going to a 427 with a YSI, and now Ive contemplated keeping the 347 and going with a twin turbo setup. The car is not a race car and has never been on the track. I drive the car and have fun with it with the club Im a member of (Southeasternfoxbodies) and show the car.

The reason Ive thought about the twins is for the cool factor and its nowhere near as common as a single turbo or supercharger. It wouldn't be for trying to reach the 2,000hp mark, it would be for the cool factor more or less. I would like to see horsepower numbers in the 700 range. I don't street race, I like to just get out and get on it real good and get that seat of the pants and eye watering feel and that's pretty much it for me! I liked the quality of the B&G kits and Brians customer service was out of this world so that would probably be who Id get the kit from again.

Some other upgrades would be ditching the stock block and going with a Dart, getting rid of the Tremec 3550 5-speed and going with a T56 Magnum setup, upgrading full lines and rails, upgrading the rear end and some odds and ends.

So Ive come back here to do some research and learn a little bit more and converse with you guys and see whats best........... Heres some pics of the car............

Hello fellow SEFB member!!!! Glad to see u didnt sell it and u have plans for some evil twins on that already awesome ride. That might might make some other local fox owners a little jealous and might warrant another magazine shoot.:2thumbs:
