Is the magazine out yet? I glad I got to meet you and see your truck at Kennedale last summer. The truck is very nice in person. I think that was the night things were cut short by rain and never got to see a pass.

it is out, i got mine in the mail on saturday. I didnt even know when it was going to be in there. they never told me and I didnt ask. I didnt see it on the cover anywhere and i figured it was still a few months out. I kind flipped through it a little and seen my truck, it took me a second to realize it was even my truck!

 

Denmah he switched to a bigger turbo i believe, im glad to see an older style block pushed like this though! Gives me hope for my gen1 staying in one piece.

 

Yeah, it does have the pt98 on it now. But my fastest times so far where with the s488. Traction issues has keep it down here lately. Been working on suspension stuff to try and get it to leave better and hopefully run a drag radial one day.

so far with the pt98. im still fighting traction issues before the 60. with no ramp rate on the controller it will leave on 10-11 psi and make 26 psi in .9 seconds. i have to slow it down to get it down the track. im trying to get the suspension working where i can use all of that!

we are planning on going to the ltx shootout in bowling green aug 31 and see where she stands with the rest of the lt1 cars out there!

 

here is a little update. no video unfortunately. 8 psi lauch, 20 psi per second ramp rate, 29psi total.

60ft is still not where it needs to be, but im plugging away at it changing little things to try and make it work.

 

this has got to be one of my favorite trucks out there. how the hell did you get the thing so low and have it hook so well. did you raise up the front mounting area of the spring at all.

the truck has come ALONG way from the days of the 4.3L and N2O. pretty sure you've had every GM trans in there except the th400 too LOL

my truck has been parked for 4 years, someday ill bring it out of retirement. the t56 did go into my brothers car so I guess ill have to get an auto with a brake.

do you have any pics of how you moved the front eye on the springs up? did you change the angle on the rear shocks? your truck is just as low as mine and mine are at like a 45* angle.
