Yea, they have spent all their money paying the real losers that it gets impossible to pay the ones who really need it.
I worked for a single company for 27 years and played hell getting it. It took 4 months before they eventually paid up (unemployment not welfare). Had to prove who I was wait 7-10 days. nope not sufficient resend -wait 7 to 10 days. oops this not right so I call them and not only do you have to go thru the press this button scenario you also have to listen to their bull shit reasoning because of the sequester why they are only available to answer calls between 8 and 12. 3 DAYS OF CALLING AND PROBABLY 12 HOURS I still got jack Sh!t. Mailed shit in again and eventually got approved. To add insult to injury and due to more official incompetence the benefit amount was cut 17% at the end of April. I filed in beginning of May so I got the lower amount. Government reaches another BS deal and one of the items is restoring the 17% starting Nov 1. I started a new job on Nov 4. The same 7 months exactly.
That is taking it in the shorts after contributing straight for almost 3 decades...

Yep I am pissed of individual with NO respect for congress.
Respect is earned for what you do consistently, not where you are or have made it to...

 

If it makes you feel any better, while I was unemployeed in 2012, my benefits were abruptly cut short. Right around the week I would have gone into the third tier of Federal Unemployment, enrollment to the tier was eliminated based on the declination of the unemployment rate. This was back in September 2012. I went from having 16 weeks to find a legitimate job to 7 days to find a bullshit job with very little notice. Good for you man. I went fishing a few times this year... but only baited hooks and took fish off for the kids.

 

Last 3 times out I was just practicing my cast. Caught that in the first 20 minutes out. Then nothing for the next 2 hrs... Was nice to get out of the house none the less.

 

Even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work............

 

Yes, although work is easy compared to what it was. I don't work on broke ass f16 anymore I am a load crew trainer. I just evaluate/train loading munition. Work get boring more than anything.
