I like it! I don't know anything about these motors but it looks to me like OE castings for the block and heads... would I be correct?

Awesome, love the engine. The 6es of GM/Ford/Chrysler have no equivalents in the US, and few equivalnets from Japan. Should start importing them and telling people I have an "ADM" motor.

My buddy got an Aussie 6 when the exchange rate was more favorable. He got his off a guy that would load a couple cars into a shipping container plus whatever other parts he could fit in. He keeps debating on turbocharging or not. He's got a build here somewhere, but a good source for parts would likely be really nice for him. I'd hit the 3800 guys up too, if you can get the blowers for 3800 RWD stuff cheap over there I'm sure there's a markup for bringing them over here so people can stick them on Camaros or whatever.

Nothing forced induction is cheap out here. Those sc3800 are coveted, even though they are giant nuggets

As for parts, thats the plan. Wll look into it further in the new year when work settles down.

I cant watch the vid at work, I can only see the opening screenshot on the link, but if he is indeed fueling the turbo inlet, and that is indeed some sort of BOV/WG on the charge pipe, wouldn't that also mean fuel vapor is expelled in the engine bay?

Its a wg, but when you watch the video, you will see the vapour being sprayed out the exhaust.

Looks like he has it set to open and let the turbo speed climb to get into boost easier.

The diesel guys do this from what I've been told basically allows you to get the turbo up to speed, you snap the gate shut and are good to go. Heard it reduces spool time a ton.
