first pass off the trailer

now that was my fastest pass ever at a track. My previous was a 6.67 @106 with a whole different setup, but that was 10 years ago. SO its been awhile.

next few passes were 6.5's


but on my 3rd pass.

60' 1.514
1/8 6.353 @110.63 (new fastest), stayed on the transbrake alittle longer to get more boost.

last pass, stayed on the brake longer and get 1.50, and I think I might got alittle tire spin on that one. But some how when I shifted to 2nd, I went to 3rd to. Guess I got alittle excited lol.

now for upgrades, needing a boost controller and some new brakes and swap out gears.

yea its Andrew old kit. modified to fit my car though. Had Brooks do that years ago. Cause I'm running a a/a intercooler and Andrew had a cooler. One day I might get a cooler. If you ever talk to him tell him its actually making passes now. Many many years it took. lol hopefully to get it as fast as he went with it.

added boost leash 2 controller, 2 step.

Controller had been on there for a little bit but kept running into problems. Then realized we needed the 2 step hooked up.

It went 5.97@116 with a 1.42 60ft. We was stoked, first time in the 5's.

 

Smaller Gear should help you some and be more street able too boot. Nice times hope mine will do this in the spring

 

so you went from a 6.3@110 to a 5.9@116 and all you changed was you added a boost.controller.

 

yes the 2 step was the big help. it has now gone a 5.85@119. , with a 1.44. it has a new tune. it has gone 121. and.just a few weeks ago I go it to 1.31 60ft. but messed up the shifting. shifted to high. it quits making power at 6200. the hydraulic cam slows it down

as for the AOD, i have no idea really. I have had the transmission for over 10 year now. And got it used. It was built by Art Carr.

 

Sweet cant wait to hit mine with the trans break and the 2 step.
