What is the most boost to run on a small block mopar? We have felpro headgaskets with head studs and KB pistons.

The total amount of boost you can run is 90% tune and only 10% parts you are using.

You can break anything if you miss it and you can make it live for a long long time if you don't.

I've run 18 psi of boost on plenty of occasions and have seen it spike to 21 psi in the logs.... with factory head bolts and Cometic head gaskets. It's all in the tune.

Give it plenty of fuel with high enough octane, cool the boost charge and back off on the timing. Start off conservatively and sneak up on it a little at a time.

The most essential parts in the internal engine setup are the base compression ratio and camshaft overlap duration. Like said above, lots of fuel will save you from detonation and you can go on from there one step at a time. If it's a new combination then making more steps at a time is seriously a bad thing.
