Pistons need to be fly cut for a turbo cam. Spend the money now when building the engine to at least get them cut. Stock cams will support quite a bit of power. I run 20 psi with a 76mm with no issues on the street.

I still gotta buy pistons so i was gonna have them notched anyway but how much power do u put down on stock cams?

1300-1500 is a hard pill to swallow for aftearket if i can make good power on stock cam

Well, based on what you said above...do you want the "cammed" sound or do you want to make power and have an efficient engine combination? You're not wasting money by purchasing custom ground cams that were designed for your power/torque goals. With a turbo car, all you really want to hear is that high pitched squeal at full tilt.....LOLOLOLOL!!!

been told by multiple people that the 96-98 cams will support around 1000RWHP. Personally for a street car I think its a waste of money.

Sorry, but buying cams for just the sound is just retarted...

True but does it warrent a 1300 price tag for that ? Deltaforce cams will take stock cams and build them to whatever specs for 60/each and u just tell them the cam spects u want

I understand and agree with what your sayin. I just thought for a street car it would be overkill.

Well my car is a street car and track car but why ls it that u can get a pushrod cam for 200 and not a set of 4 mod motor cams for 800? That makes no sense

How is 150 HP not worth $1300.? Guys spend $4K to buy a vortech or procharger to gain about the same amount of power.
