    Hi,

I've got a bigblock Mopar that I turbocharged and somehow thought that a Centerforce Dual Friction would be enough, no such luck.

What should I put in instead in order for not to have clutch slippage and with at least some degree of street manners?
My ride is a streetcar with good power. A single turbo BB 400.

I would appreciate your insight please.

I would say spec makes one of the best clutches on the market. Whatever you decide you should try and get a twin disc.

I had a 340,4spd 74 Cuda.Bought a centerforce and torched it.Had a ram clutch and loved it other than breaking drive shafts yokes and u joints.Non hydrlic,
3000lb pressure plate and a hockey puck ceramic disc.Drove the car daily.Left leg got pretty strong. It wasnt that bad.Once i got the weak links fixed it was great.

Centerforce clutches will have good pedal feel but will not hold most of the time to boost I would go with a 4 or 6 puck ram or something similar they bite and hold

I have never had luck with spec clutches on my baby mopar. My 4 banger neon had a spec stage 3 and the pressure plate strap broke. After some research it was a cheap korean pp that was modified.

A whopping 200whp did that on drag radials.

Any other bad experiences about Spec or other brands? How about Sachs Racing clutches? Anybody used those?

I have also had a spec stage 3 10.5 disk seems to slip around the 600fttq area (2500 to 3000rpms). Also used a mcleod twin disk it never slip but with the fiber disks that it had didnt last long at the track. Now running a 11'' ram puck setup only slips a tad bit when cold but paddle it once and its hooked up.
