sct proracer manuel and dvd

    Buying the proracer software and looking for some tuning tips. Anyone have a pdf file of the manuel or want to sell one along with the dvd?

    I don't think you are going to get far on a forum asking for a pirated version of copy written material.

    Just paid for the prp through vmp tuning. Justin has always tuned my car and is sending all my older flies with the software.


    The only thing i'm not tuned for is the cam I'm running. It is a bit rough idling and noticed the headers glow under normal driving. What should I change to remedy this? I think it's lean and the timing may be a bit low since I deleted the imrc's.

    As far as manuals go, SCT's is worth the cost for a beginner, but its not going to cover the more advanced stuff. It the basic fundamentals of how to dial in maf, spark, datalog, how to use the software, etc.

    LaSota's newer book (he co-wrote the SCT Pro Racer manual) covers more advanced stuff and goes into far more detail. No single source covers it all but for the price his is going to give you most of what non-professionals need. His book is "The Ultimate Ford EFI Tuning Guide".

    I really didn't like LaSota's book. Waste of $75 bucks I thought. All it talks about is MAF, about 3/4 of the book. nothing about injectors, slopes, turning off codes, or what anything means, basically says to load SCT's value files that they pre did. Is there other books that go in more detail than this book. I got Greg Banishes book for $25 at books a million and was far more detailed, but not really telling or showing what you need to know for how to calibrate.
