on another forum ive been talking a little about building my turbo duster and i keep getting told how complicated it is to get tuning done right setting boost, fuel, ignition. is it really as hard as ive been told? i dont want to be talked out of it. all the fabrication will be easy for me.

No it is not, A well tuned blow thru carb good ignition and decent turbo system isn't more complicated than a nasty NA build (easier IMO, few more parts is all).

My advice... start out with low boost, fat, and retarded. Then sneak up on it. Be sure to put a wideband on it also.

Yea a wideband O2 sensor. It helps you keep an eye on your tune so you don't burn up your engine and it is one of the best tuning tools on the market.

Standard S475 with the 96mm turbine wheel, 1.32 A/R turbine housing and 75mm compressor.

Are the people that are telling you these things experienced with building and tuning turbo systems? Probably not. People seem to have an opinion about everything these days. Leave it to someone with no experience in the field to give you BAD advice.

This is good advice. Spend the money on a wideband. Will make things easier.

That sounds kind of like me. Fat and retarded.
