you mentioned waste a spark... is it firing all 8 coils at once? or does it do it in pairs or something?

You are firing the cylinder 360 degrees out from the one on the power stroke. This is actually fairly common. Systems such as ford EDIS and gm DIS do this.

What is the part# for the micro2? The only microsquirt I found only runs up to 4 injetors.

There is a microsquirt(cased), this means it has it's own case, and the were two of those. The older one with the metal case, and the new one with the plastic case. the set up here is a plastic cased microsquirt.

Then, there is the microsquirt module, basically a microsquirt designed to be used in a design of your own, application.

The microsquirt module, will do more than the cased microsquirt, but the cased microsquirt is weather proof, and less of a DIYers system.

This harness, and this application on the LSx, is limited to the new version 3 of the (cased) microsquirt.

It is wasted spark, and bank fire injectors.

    With

    all the normal stuff,and

    boost control
    dual o2 inputs
plus a couple selectable inputs and outputs.
It also comes with can bus expandabilty

The other megasquirt/microsquirt/EMSpros all will do the LSx platform in some function, but the new vr circuit in the new plastic cased microsquirt makes this install much less problematic.

    Hi Guys
How about using a knock gauge to trigger a retard in the MicroSquirt ? I use a knock gauge on two stroke motors that I build. This knock gauge http://www.knockgauge.eu/content/blogcategory/22/41/ which also sells on e-bay has the option to either have a ground or 0 to 5 volt output. The ignition that I use it with will use the ground signal to retard the ignition what ever I program into the ignition. If possible it would add a margin of safety to the motor.

The nice thing is the 6010 is a plug in deal. Be nice to see the differences between the two options laid out.

its no more than 550 for MS1 and 6010 running.

for a lsx youll be over 800 dollars to get it going on MS3x with lots of wiring.

Just an FYI, there's a feature on the site, it's active but no menu item for it, which is the "Media Library." It's a place where we can put up a library of videos hosted via Facebook and other services, so TTF users can easily find what they need without hunting through stickies, doing thread searches, etc. I've put the videos into this library. You can see it here:

    https://www.theturboforums.com/media.php

I'll be adding a tab later this week for it after I get more videos into the system.
