That was some good stuff dude! When I wired up my MS2 I was pretty lost, but I did ignition control with a GM 8 pin small distributor. I dont think I will ever do that again.

It is about time someone did this. I know exactly what you mean about no videos like this and only dumbshit 3 minute videos of people flooring their cars. Can't wait for the next vids!

Cool vids, what about something on the code types and why you run them? Make more vids, give me something to listen to in the car when driving :D

Your vids are very helpful. I'm getting ready to order a Megasquirt III for my 97 mustang with a turbo. I have watched a ton vids and read quite a bit but all the vids I've watched have shown absolutely nothing. Is there a reason you didnt use the boost controller through the MS. I'll be on the look out for the rest of your vids. Thanks!

    Great Vids!
I am running MS3X on a SBM TT with Meth Injection. I got it running on the dyno but I had Ignition Problems using a Dual Sync Distributor. Megasquirt does not like Low Tooth Count Wheels for a Crank Trigger. I learned the hard way. I have upgraded to a 36-1 Crank trigger and made my own Cam Signal inside an old Lean burn dizzy and also added 8 D585 Coils to the mix. It is not going on the Engine Dyno again. Motor does not leak oil or water so its going in the car and on the Rollers next time.

Here is a Vid of it on the Dyno, never got it on boost because of the Ignition problems.

How smooth does the 'batch' fire run? That seems to me that the cylinders would get washed out and you would have a huge rich condition coming from the wideband. I am very interested in MS but have a hard time jumping off the cliff and buying one.

Guys have great success with batch fire. If you want full sequential the MS3X will do whatever you want and then some.

Batch is fine, never had any complaints. The only thing I really notice now with sequential is a little smoother idle and less AFR fluctuation (although there was certainly nothing unacceptable about batch AFRs). Fuel economy has remained the same far as I can tell.

My experience is pretty much the same. Also, transient response is smoother with sequential. One result being that acceleration enrichment is easier to tune.

been beta testing a plug and play harness for a Micro2 built by parish's friend in nebraska.

    we are getting there.

reading the stock crank trigger wheel with no cam sensor plugged in at all, synching up and firing the stock coils with waste spark. on a 3 bar map sensor.

    pretty awesome!
running good enough that i took the car out for a drive today and made a few lbs of boost!
here is a quick over view of a sloppy wiring testing mess laying on top of my stock harness and the car running and some explanation haha...
