I'll have to search through my stuff from before. I had a few but the tires would spin more then anything so it was hard to tell what was going on. Going to be doing a gear change as well so I hope to get some logs after that's all done and I can get some good load on everything.

Thanks! I'm happy for the most part with how it came out. Just waitign for the paint to dry and we'll toss it all back together! And I need to epoxy some of the stupid studs on the bumber as well... To many times and and off and now they all slip in the plastic

he ran with us at the track the other day

10.28 off the foot brake, like 1.7x 60ft.

    138mph on wastegate! SICK! (~13psi i think)

    Ok quick update time!!
Car ran good for being out for the first time in 2 years. I was only running off the gate (~13.5psi) with the thoughts of starting to push up on the boost (18 by the end of the day) but due to the T-brake and 2-step issues I never had a chance to even turn the boost controller on
I did however get a chance to try and foot brake the car a little. I launched at about 2500RPM still in vac clicking off a 1.75 60' and a 10.28 at 138mph. Which I thought wasn't to bad! this is also my personal best. The car must be makign some power with the new turbo, my best last year with a little better launch was a 10.31 at 134mph. That was with more boost (67mm turbo though) and 3.27's in the rear + the TH400, also first time out with the TH400. Remeber the car now is on 28" slicks with 2.73 gears through the TH400.

The T-brake 60 ft times we're 1.52 and 1.57 but the car would fall on it's face and sputter pretty bad. I still need to look at some of the data logs and see what was causing this. So hopfully next year I can get some clean passes in and see what she'll do.

I'll post up the time slip later on once I get home and scan it all in.

In another note. It looks like the car was pigging out pretty good off the T-brake. Like low 10 to high 9 AFR's then coming up. So I have a feeling thats why it was stumbling like crazy right on the launch. I'll have to get that all Ironed out and go from there.

I know it's a heck of a thread mine but not just this post in particular but also this thread has been of fantastic help. My primary reason I joined this forum is so I could post in this thread.

I too will be using an S480 turbo with a similar wastegated housing arrangement. Thanks for the idea! My motor is a Ford Mod 5.4 based taken out to 349ci with my stroker rods, an S480 turbo with 1.32 rear, 330/260cfm ported 05 C heads, Aussie Boss intake and 232* cams on E85. Will be an undertray midmount turbo arrangement in a 2005 Ford Falcon XR8 6M ute. Where you have an x-pipe type arrangement mine will be a k-type. But overall very similar.

Are there any more updates on this car?!
