Little update. Ended up using 3.08s in the rear. Its awesome to drive on the highway at 65-68 hangin right around 2500rpms. Just went back up to psi so frank could switch some things in the tune to get it to idle with the auto. Took a minute and fixed it first try. So now that its idling at 900-1000 and not surging from 1800-500 its been the first tank of gas that ive been able to get more than 100 miles on! Also it was the longest trip ive had the car on. One hour there and back and a humid 87* out. With the idle wacked in traffic on the way there it was running at 210-215. Cruisin on the way home was 195-200 all smooth.

Heres a quick vid from the way up. Had to do it in the tunnel. This was with the windows down. Tells you how quiet the car is inside.

Iyea idk if its really loose or what. It works fine at 9psi but up at 16 it just when right to the limiter. Thing is i cant get it to stall up past 2000 without spinning the tires. Its supposed to be a 3800 stall

Yeah sounds like the converter is messed up. Just be careful if it's to messed up it can take out the trans as well.
I picked up my converter from Dynamic and it's absolutely awesome! I know PTC as well as Triple D sells some good converters. But you're looking at $800-$1000
