Great job on the build man. For all the guys that are knocking the 2JZ, it is what it is, it is cheap and light and can make some serious power without bracking the bank. Heavens knows I get alot of flack in my area about how the @JZ's run the streets around my neck of the woods, but I have to give it to them, they do run. In a light car like a 65, just a few upgrades and you will be making some good power and drive it everywhere. I would get a tune on E85 if available in your are and have fun with it.

Here is a little update. Got the custom routed brake lines bent, flared, and installed. Intercooler, radiator installed. Cranked, rolling, stopping for the first time.

We started on this project 4 years ago and bought as a roller, so we have never driven the car. Should be ready for a spin around the block soon.

Here is the latest update. Finally drove the car for the first time since we have owned the car. (bought and started the project in 2008)

Thanks man. I emailed you based on your PM.

We have some Fiero seats going in that have been recovered. We modified the rear seats to fit around the minitubs and package tray, and having those covered to match the front seats.

I bet the wife love's the spray both in her garage. lol Really looking awesome guys , just wondering if the 2 hot water heaters your spraying next to are gas or electric , good friend of mine blew the garage up and had 2nd* burns from the hot water heater blowing up from the fumes hitting the pilot light.

How long before we get a vid of it in boost, can't wait to see what that setup is going to do in a Mustang, sounds really healthy. You guys remind me of my dad and me building cars in the old days , wish he was still around to see the turbo cars now we were N/A back then. He used to buy totals and we would rebuild them and sell them , it was a great bonding experience that I really miss, you guy's need to take advantage of it because you never know what's around the corner.

Good question on the hot water heaters, they are gas, but I was advised on the spark igniting the solvents in the overspray before I ever started painting, so I shut the pilots off before I start. It's a real pain because they are kind of hard to re light and if I am painting alot, no hot water heater in the house, lol. I also have 4 fans pulling close to 7000cfm, so it really circulates the air quickly... I have a few videos of it making boost on the street, nothign crazy yet. Looking forward to making a few passes in it to see how it performs/sounds...
