Has anyone tried two of these on a small cube motor (i.e 350) without nitrous? I saw the 4.6 truck but I don't beleive it's done yet, from what I read?

I'm gonna go for twins. If it don't work out I'll have a spare. Can you get me a price on a set? I'd rather use a sponsor than Ebay. Thanks

The Red Nova at the begining of this thread with the BBC and twin gt45's, switched to a stock LQ4 and the same gt45's and ran 9.4@151mph at 3700lbs recently. He has 5 seasons on these turbos.

That deuce runs good. Just picked up a set of heads for cheap. Not the best but it'll work. Ported Pro-Toplines. I'm also going to play with a couple different plates to sandwich in between the turbine and exhaust. Has anyone tried it before?

Anyone have any thoughts on how one of these would do on a 5.7 Hemi with a medium sized cam and mildly ported heads?

!!!!WARNING!!!! Be sure to take apart your turbo and inspect it for any burrs. The first time I took the turbo apart I was only looking for dirty surfaces and loose debris of which I found none. However today I happen to notice a large piece of loose casting on the compressor side I decided to take it apart and do a very strict inspection Holy Fuck I'm glad I did! I found large hanging burrs left from the drill breaking thru on the threaded holes (Compressor side only turbine side are blind). and several large pieces of casting that could be knocked free with very little effort. I don't know how I missed all this the first time I had it apart.

This is some of what I got out!

I used a bottle brush to knock any loose cast or burrs in this section

In all It was only about an hours work and very easy to do cheap insurance.

    60mm w/g
    50mm
    intercooler/and piping
    flange
    oil feed and drain
    42# bosch injectors
    walbro 255lph pump
    75mm maf
    aem wideband
This will be my first turbo setup on a gas motor. This setup will be on a 97 mk8 4v in a 02 gt. I am learning and figured this is about the cheapest route I can go with so if it doesnt work/blows up I have not lost anything but my time and a 500$ motor. I am building my own hot side, but am lost on the tuning, I hope I can have as good luck as some of you guys

VS racing was really helpful :2thumbs:
