Does a turbo kit count? I believe at least one or two people here have hit single digits with one.

    Define bolt on?
Heads bolt on, turbo bolts on
I have seen some deep 11's and high 10's in a light enough car.
Hell all it takes is 330rwhp in a light enough fox to run high 10's.
    Put her on a diet.

Besides with too many of your own rules on something like this....
It's very much like me standing in the street and saying I'm the maddest mfer in the world, within 20ft of my mailbox with brown hair, a blue shirt, flop flops....

Just enjoy the success. Because once bitten by the bug your buddy will have a power adder on that car and his car will be like everyone else's. Modded to hell and back.

There is no way possible to determine this because there are 1 bazillions "bolt ons" for Mustangs. Blowers and turbos "bolt on", so do heads, roller rockers, and nitrous kits. No one can even agree on one single part of this, so how could they on every possible combination? What about tires? Suspension" Interior, and all the little bits and pieces of that?

IIRC I remember seeing a bone stock mustang engine wise running somewhere in the 12's, with bolt ons everywhere else. That one stuck out because the engine was so stock. Guy said the covers had never been off.

Darin's old 88, full weight coupe ran 13.20's @ 104.80 with a GT40, gears, long tubes, Flow masters, street pulley on regular 265/50/15 radials at full weight (3300) and hi 1.9 60ft.

Five years later I picked up a coupe for him, gutted (2800 lbs) but still had regular seats, long tubes, gears, race pulley, tune up, ran 12.80 @ 105 on regular radials 225/60/15's with a 1.8 60 ft. He ported the intake and heads and added a small cam and it ran 11's.

Our new race car, it's 2500 lbs with driver, would be 2400 with out the turbo, same engine package above and it would most likely run mid 11's with a 1.50 60 ft.

As said by the experts above, too many variables. I want to find a stock coupe and gut it to the 2200 lb mark and see how fast a stk engine can truly go, I also want to build a turbo Hayabusa powered 67 Bug, and a ...... and a.....

Look to the factory stock class for bolt on times.... I think 11's are the norm?

You made my point for me. "Bolt on" is such a loose term this question could never be answered.

In the old days we would say "Lake Worth stock", that was the town most of the street racing took place and it meant K&N, gears, exhaust, ect.

13.2 with just gears and a carb intake. Then with a better carb intake, f cam, heads, gears, exhaust and stock everything else went 12.7 @ 107 on 7 cylinders.

My 1990 GT fully loaded, A/C, power steering, full interior, etc. had the stock 80,000 shortblock but with 1969 351W heads that were ported, GT-40 intake ported, 30# injectors, C&L 73mm Mass air meter, 75mm throttle body, 4.30 gears, T-5, 1 5/8" MAC longtube headers, 2.5" H-pipe and 2.5" American thunder kit (Flowmasters), 28x8.5" slicks I ran a best of [email protected] but ran several 12.09, 12.12, 12.10, 12.15 passes and all over 111 MPH.

I added a Procharger P-600B 17/21 kit and ran 11.11@138 MPH with no other changes other than adding a set of 42# injectors and putting 3.55 gears in the car.
