Any 351 Windsor dyno results for street cars. Would prefer street car over Drag car results. Maybe strictly pump gas #'s.

Here is my 383W engine being tested n/a on a dyno. The engine dyno'd at 443hp @ 5900 and 447 torque @ 4200rpm. Torque was above 400 starting at 3200rpms. This was 8.47:1 cr and with a turbo specific cam. This was done by taking the elbow off and using a 750 dyno carb and dyno distributor. Left the fuel rails on with the injectors installed.
Remains to be seen what this will do with the 88mm. I am hoping to double HP at 15lbs of boost - say 890 (760 to the tires).

Dan my old combo N/A made 449RWHP/424RWTQ through a T56 6 speed. Basicly a 393 bored out 0.06 over instead of 0.030 which made it 398 cubic inch. 3.85'' cast steel crank, Billet I beam rods, Forged pistons. Around 10.4 compression ratio, hydraulic roller 248/255 @50 total like 597/608. AFR 225's with a stock victor jr intake and a Prosystems 950 carb. 1 7/8'' hearders on 92 pump gas fuel. Basicly the car was down on power, because of soft valve springs and stock victor jr intake. Once the valve collapsed, I put in beehives and ported the intake it ran alot better. Then after a drive it seemed like it was down on power. Never figured it out and it broke a rod. Basicly I think the rocker arm came undone.

Thats excellent info. The 351W is an awesome platform to build a larger "smallblock". It seems its easier to buid some big cubic inch motors with the windsor.

Can we get some more guys with 351W history?

i never got boost on my 351w but oh well its fun to talk about.. mine was 421ci (418 that was .040 over) 9.2:1 compression, eagle crank and rods, srp pistons, afr 225's, solid roller, vic jr, race demon 775, thru a tremec i made 450/440rw, and on a nos plate kit jetted for 100hp flywheel made 558/600. ran 10.3 @ 138 on the 100 shot. i wanted to put a ysi on it, was expecting to make 600rw on just 6-7lbs but changed directions.

i wish i had the windsor again, i have a dart block 347 now which is working great for what im doing, but i would love to start building another 400+ cube windsor.

I've got a 393W Stroker very similar to Blue Oval's for the most part. I'm fuel injected with a FAST system. My compression is at 10.5:1 however with a 150 shot on it. Once I get her tuned, I was hoping to see a low 10 high 9 with the C4 on a transbrake and street slicks. I guess we'll see.

What size was your camshaft? @ 50 and total? Was it street friendly or not? Also what kind of fuel?
