Ok, maybe with a little Torco, but good Christ these engines seem to be making more and more with good turbo kit. Here comes the 11 GT's!

Tuner said the AIT1 temp in the MAF before the throttle body was only showing 1-2 deg gain in temp. He thought it was broken, so he stopped logging it. The AIT2 saw 20 deg climb, and since that sensor is in the intake, guessing hear soak or inlet charge going up from intake heat.

Cobra Jet short block, stock heads and Ford GT heads. Cobra Jet engine is just stock components with H beam rods as far as I know. So it's not ideal, especially being 8-1, but pretty surprised with it so far.

He should be convertng to E85 any day. Dropped it off about 2 weeks ago. He wants 28 psi. Should be 1200rwhp or more at the pressure.

    Very sweet numbers indeed!

Hmm, compression is still a little high isn't it....? ;)

Actually the most surprising thing to me is that people are so stunned when a low comp motor pulls out big numbers.

For a very well written concise article explaining the relationship between compression ratio and boost follow this link:

    Good read.
I'm not so surprised it hit the number as it was able to hit it on pump gas. With such low CR I didn't know if we would run out of octane or boost range first. I get to test it back to back with mine though hopefully soon when I get some free times. Swap out the shortblock for higher CR and see what happens exactly.

Keep us posted on the latest..... when you start running E85. Love to see some hard data and your experience with the changeover.

Customer is switching to E85 as we speak, so we should see back to back. I'll bumping to CR on mine to test it. Probably not as much on pump gas but sure on race gas it will be higher psi for psi.

Looks like he's staying with gas. No Torco this time
Pump gas 12.5 psi =810rwhp. Down 2.5 psi and up 90rwhp LOL
Same tune. Changed the gear to 3.55 from 3.73's. Sent the clutch back because it looked to be slipping bad, and added cutouts before the neck down to the catback. He also now has the fuel system to get a little silly.
